The PBE nerf to Celerity is probably justified but makes me sad

As a mid/support main, I was pretty much taking it on everyone simply because 4% MS is 8/9 the value of 3 entire MS quints from previous seasons. It just felt so nice to be laning with a normal amount of AP or AD, but with MS as if you had sacrificed combat stat quints for MS quints. You could be playing Lux or Viktor with 40 AP and nearly 350 MS at level 1, making dodging skillshots a breeze and allowing you to always get that empowered auto in.

The difference is only 1% so it's not like Celerity is suddenly bad, but at the same time, Transendence is pretty hard to give up. And its even worse for the champs who actually took MS quints last season, like Sol or TF.

I get that Celerity shouldn't feel powerful because of a passive stat bonus it always gives, but I liked it so much.

The only reason to nerf movement speed is to buff people who have bad positioning I.E unable to orb walk etc.

Celerity was originally supposed to be 3% and only got changed because of Phase Rush. Riot is most likely going to put that power back into Phase Rush.

I dont know who thinks its fair to constantly nerf everything sans ADC. It's really getting absurd.

Imo Celerity is garbage atm because while it scales to bonus move speed, that's a pretty capped AP/AD bonus.

If you manage 500 move speed, that amounts to about a whopping 12 AP on most champs. You can get 100 AP on transcendence, and most 500 move speed champs are using Mobis, which turn off in combat......
