5 bans will ruin the competitive scene unless implemented in a Dota 2 format

Dota 2 can only make it work because of the wide array of options. Dota 2 has probably more than twice the number of viable options for any given role, and that's IF 80+% of league of legends champions were viable. If the majority of champions in the game were competitively viable, dota 2's options would still be twice as wide. And EVEN THEN Dota 2 has implemented the system so that it's not 5 bans upfront. If we get to 5 bans upfront, we're going to see the most diversity-shot meta that league of legends has ever seen.

What the hell is a Dota

Oh please, they need to learn some diversity; the same dozen champions picked every year is as stale as paint drying.

The reason for lack of diversity in competitive is because Riot don't give players nearly enough time between patches to learn new things. That's why pros only ever play what's best on a given patch rather than letting themselves explore - they don't have time for anything else

What?

Even if you ban 10 of the same class theres still enough of any class to work.

The third/fourth tiers are pretty wide. It would increase diversity by removing the upper outlieng power tiers.
