Remember how before the rework his W costed 0 mana? Can you revert that back? I think you guys just forgot...

Ariel the Cruel14 votesThis has been addressed. It wasn't a mistake. Having it free is just extraneous power. They did say they would considering having it scale down with rank though (ala Lucian dash).
sir d wreck4 votesWell, when Riot gave Tristana and Kog free AS steroids their reasoning was because attacking lots should be part of their kit. I find it a bit funny that NOW they are hesitant to add it back to Kog, yet Tristana still gets free AS steroid.
Velzard of Koz5 votesKog alongside his AAs has Q which deals decent damage, E which is easy to hit and still deals decent damage and can use his ult multiple times. Meanwhile Trist has her delayed E and W which isn't quite supposed to be purely damaging ability and disengage ult. I wouldn't compare them. Also check Kog's base dmg scales.
sir d wreck2 votesThat is true, point taken. I compared them because in the patch where Riot made Trist and Kog attack steroid mana free they themselves compared them. Although I'd argue Kog's E isn't really used for poke as it's maxed last and it's only 60 damage for 80 mana at rank 1.. if anything the slow is the main purpose of casting his E in general.

After the Kog revert, they said extra damage and range skewed his early game too much in conjunction with his ult. That's also why they said they were considering lowering the cost each rank; but nothing has happened in that department since.

On Champ.gg only. Their sample size is really small. Over on Leagueofgraph's he's sitting at about 44%.
ALWAYS consider what the sample size is when looking at these stat aggregating websites. Especially on champs with absurdly low play rates.
