True damage does not care about your armor. Also 400 armor? Something wrong with your build.. Like the fact you cant do any damage and probably have no bonus HP.

Counterpick, learn how to deal with her abilities, and dont rush into your lane and die over and over for CS until she is 14/2 (typical toplane strategy)

Poppy does gain bonus armor from her W. I wouldn't be surprised if, base being about 89, he had a Thornmail, Randuin's, Sunfire, Frozen Heart, and maybe a Deadman's. That gives a total of 350 as bonus so plus base is about 439. So maybe not either Sunfire or Deadman's. Either way, he has about 1000 bonus health from his build, which is reasonable, landing him at 3070 HP at Level 18.

My thought process on that is. Sure she shreds your health with true just as fast. BUT the rest of the damage isn't exploding you as fast. So you last longer.

I've done the math on this before and it checks out.

If you have 1000 health and Fiora's Vitals hit for 10% then you take 100 damage and have 900 health left. If you have 2000 health then you take 200 damage but have 1800 health remaining.

I cannot stress this enough: BUY HEALTH YOU FOOLS.

Yes, her Vitals will deal slightly more damage. But you'll have all of that extra health to soak up all of her non-true damage.

As a Fiora main, I love squishy targets that instantly pop when I burst them off of a Vital proc. It's actually the tanky targets that give me the most trouble though, because my Q and E do scratch damage and my basic attacks are nigh worthless. Yes, I can overcome this and kill literally anything if I can live long enough to keep proc'ing Vitals - but that takes skill and sometimes glass cannon AD builds just can't live long enough to pull it off.

Fiora deals mostly physical damage; health and armor are you friend. The true damage Vitals just make sure she isn't completely useless against tanky targets. If you die super fast, it's probably because she's going glass cannon...just make sure to build some damage so you don't hit like a wet noodle and CC her. Or outnumber her, ganks wreck Fiora hard in lane phase.

Honestly she's like Riven, if she doesnt snowball out of control she can be managed in team fights.

Don't 1v1 Her late game. She is the queen on late game 1v1. Team fight. She isn't the best team fighter (low AOE damage and her only hard CC is highly unreliable).

Early game she's a lot weaker because her abilities have cooldowns around 20 seconds. If you get her to waste them she's very easy to gank. Watch to see when she tries to W you, then bait it out of her when your jungler/mid show up to gank her. Or if you know you have the damage to kill her. Fiora loves it when you let her poke you in small exchanges every 15/20 seconds. She'll always win that way.

Late game... It's a lot more difficult to say. If she is way ahead, she'll probably just be impossible to deal with. Though if she's on-level or weak then she's useless in team fights. Peeling her off of your team's ADC or mage usually allows you to win fights.

Dueling her late game, though? Don't even bother.

I've yet to see that. Not sure why you'd have Ignite for her, though. Exhaust would be better, if you're not using Teleport.

Well you can start by not being reliant on your armor???

Fiora reduces the effectiveness of armor against her specifically but then also builds items that do the same and here you are stacking armor while utility items are where its at.

Also can her ult not be QSS'd? It probably can't if zeds cant so maybe just pick any speed boost item.. actually wait, poppy has a way to escape from her since she has that anti dash barrier.

How is fiora melting poppy exactly, you tried to duel her or something? Jax, irelia, yi, all of them would have bent you about as hard.
