I always ask if it's their first time playing when I see them making mistakes in even the basic theory of their mechanics.

Most of the time I'm not wrong.

Most people would see that as an inderect attack on them. If someone is making mistakes, you should try to fill for those mistakes while making constructive criticism. It's the same like if it were real life. Just pretend like they know and you're just reminding them in a polite way.

I only ask if I legitimately deduced the case because it was that obvious. Only then do I feel like I'm allowed to give them tips, and even then, some are still assholes about it.

Lol, it was one of my first times playing Corki on ARAM and I got 19 kills and 25 assists. I was proud of myself, and was like "it's my first time playing corki!" Somebody was like "Yeah, I can tell" item 3070

Have a bad game with a skill shot heavy champ like Lux , hit everything consistantly but miss a few ults or have them bug and do no damage..... teammates ask "this your first game as Lux? You suck".
