Why is poro king on every weekend?

When was the last time we had URF (not random) or Hexakill...?

Please make a poll so the players can decide the next weekend mode.

Honestly its getting tiring. I understand they can have all the featured games modes out, but at the same time there is something called repetitiveness. I cannot even count how many times we seen LotPK, but we have modes that we havent seen in months, and close to years, but there has to be a time when enough is enough in giving something we have seen over and over again!

Ok you want the real reason: The client closing.

Things like URF and Hexakill they want to rework and re-balance. But doing that on 2 separate clients..when 1 of them is about to be shut down forever, is not smart to do.

So they are using games that are currently 'balance' and they are not working on (Poro King, Ascension, Siege) so that they can focus on working on new modes (like the dark star event next patch) and balancing old modes (Like URF) on just the new client.

If that's the reason, then I'm fine with it. But even as an unbalanced broken mess, URF is much funnier than poro king.

I preferred ARURF more personally.

Having every URF game being Zed Evelynn Shaco MonkeyKing { Sona turned me off. If I wanted to try other champs against these guys it was grey screen for the entire game.

At least with ARURF every game could be different...sure there was super stomes...but again I preferred it over the same 10 champs of URF.

But now that the old client is officially done today...let see what they can do with URF.

Also as an ARAM player...I freakin love Poro King.

Because as of February all modes will stay for 2 weeks (aka one whole patch).

Fair enough, but the reason they keep bringing it back is due to its popularity. I don't think the rate of LotPK would decrease with a poll.

It's also due to limitations of the new client and the fact that not all of the RGM's are supported on it yet. But next weekend we get the new Dark Star game mode, which should be fun.

Everyone I know on lol prefers URF or Hexakill instead of poro king or siege. The dominion spoof one was also much better than poro king.
