Playing Aatrox support

"Why the hell would you take Aatrox support?" Let me make my case.

1.) I am not a high level player. As of right now I am silver 5 and I don't intend to try to climb any higher. Basically what I am saying is that the people I am laning against in bot lane are not going to be pros either and this lends a bit of flexibility to roles. 2.) My favorite type of support is usually the tanky kind, but I can't just take any tank into the bot lane, generally I look for a.) being a tank and b.) Having at least two forms of good and reliable CC, which Aatrox possesses.

Thoughts:

I really like it! It is nice to be able to play a champion in the support that is brawly and can actually deal damage. I used to play Sion support all the time but now I am thinking that Aatrox will be my go to replacement for him. You have a very strong level one and are even stronger level 2 whenever you pick up your E or W (both are really good, I usually go W for the slow). When I saw his kit my first thoughts were "I can support with this". Then I played him a couple of times and well....lost badly, which caused me to lose faith, but as I started to refine my skills with his kit I realized that there is a lot of potential to him.

His passive helps against heal bots supports His Q can be both great engage or great peel depending on how you use it His W is a very powerful cc ability that is, once again, great for engaging or peeling (a little less effective on peeling though) His E helps you land all of the above His ult gives you a ton of all in potential, lets you catch up to your adc if he/she is caught out, if you die you revive...etc.

The only downside is that sometimes i'll use my ult and I'll still die because it doesn't go off in just enough time, thats annoying.

I also think that it would be cool to buff his ult to heal a percentage of his missing health if he doesn't die when the ult expires...but that might makes him too op, but then a lot of people are saying he is shit anyways so who knows?
