One-shot by lvl 3 Brand

Not literally ''one-shot'' but i got 100-0 by a lvl 3 Brand as a lvl 3 Zyra. Really, i had 100% hp, no minion damage at all.

Gotta admit tho, i played like a turd, i'd miss my skillshots and walked straight into his combo. But this isn't the point.

Q+W+E+passive+ignite+ 2 autos and i got 100-0'd. Should this even happen?

Seems awfully punitive for a single combo so early. I mean, if i am to get banged, i'd rather have some preliminaries first. Y'know, poke me a little first, buy me a gift, but Brand went in dry with me. Ouch

Brand can entirely deny Malphite his passive by hitting him with it every time he tries to CS. Its HP % damage on Brand's passive. To beat Brand I recommend Yasuo, Ahri or Velkoz. The first can outplay, the third is just as immobile but can lay down some serious in lane harass.

Will O Wisp does 1/8 of a pokemon's health every turn and reduces their attack stat by 50%. As long as your fire type can land it your opponent will continue to take HP % damage ignoring the type advantage. #checkmate

malphite deals primarily ap damage, therefore reducing his attack would have no effect on the damage of power gem

Seems pretty normal. Brand based on your example was able to get off every bit of damage he had possible with a couple of Autos. Other champs could do the same if they hit you like that with a full combo. Anivia comes to mind if you take Q at level 1 and stack two points into E. Q+E+Ignite+two AA would probably do the same thing.

Depending on items(assume a dorans ring) masteries(thunderlords) and ap runes(26+) yeah I can see it.

the only possibilities that i think he could used q > w > e + passive + ignite and killed you in one combo at lvl 3 would be he has a already a second doran ring and you have not a single piece of MR.
