I found how to dominate with Pyke and I'm not telling.....

..... I will give some hints though:

Change up your rune trees (Neither of the two trees currently being meta'd are correct; I've played over 80 games on those runes, and they don't even compete with my new runes...)

Attack speed isn't a bad thing.

Movement speed is more important than tankiness or AD.

My Last 4 games:

17/2/5 11/3/13 21/1/9 16/1/11

And all of them had extreme Pyke counters.

Last game actually had 3 3 man sequential R chains.... (not right after each other either.... kills were 15-17 seconds apart, and about an entire screen away from previous kill).

Most of these are Pure Pyke kills... solo or mostly my own damage.

correct me if I'm wrong here, but why would you want solo kills as pyke? Doesn't his passive reward team killing?

And there is a KR player currently with about 100 games on Pyke sitting comfortably at 70% winrate using the standard Electrocute/Second wind build. 16/1 games.

I understand your games look better there...but without proof of your games (screenshots with blurred names to retain your anonymity), no one is going to believe you anyway.

I can easily say something like:

You guys are playing Udyr all wrong...

My last 4 games are:

16/3/7 21/2/5 6/1/17 15/0/3

And you'd have to believe me if you couldn't look me up.

Don't get me wrong...good on ya if you found something that is sweet. But I'll follow a 70% WR Korean build until proven otherwise.

GL on the rift!

Also, if you are referring to the Aftershock resolve tree with sudden impact...that is also helpful. And people are using it.

Pyke suffers from early game damage with his horrendous CD's. So you could go Electrocute for the early game, or Aftershock for the mid/late game.

okok ill give it a try.

attack speed iirc is only found in domination and precision, but you said its not a meta tree, so it has to be precision primary. movespeed is more important then AD, and domination is a meta tree for him, so I know you must be taking sorcery secondary, because the only other runes that grant movespeed are in inspiration.

in another post here, you said he suffers survivability, so im thinking you took FF keystone, triumph is more or less obvious, maybe legend tenacity because you said survivability and CC vs assasins suck, (maybe bloodlibe because you keep saying you regain your health a full 2-3 times?) and coup de grace.

you complained about movement runes wearing off in combat, so I don't think you took waterwalking, so im left with celerity, and for secondary rune nimbus cloak, because you said yourself, after you get out of the fight your already 800 units away, so I can imagine you ult and then use its movespeed and e with a FF proc to get out.

howd I do???

You haven't played a single matchmade game since 2017.

I don't know how much I trust this "dominate with Pyke" from someone who hasn't even played him.

Personally I run:

Predator Sudden Impact Eyeball Collection Ingenious Hunter (it works with predator)

Nimbus Cloak Celerity

Typical build: item 3097 item 3117 item 3147 item 3142 item 3026 sixth item varies (if you even get that far, if we're being honest) in whatever order suits the game

The trick is juggling your cooldowns. It's tempting to pop everything to get damage upfront, but you want to be slippery (like a shark circling their victims) at all times. Nimbus cloak will cover for lack of mobi boots passive, but you can pop Ghostblade offensively or defensively depending on the situation.

Duskblade is useful for roaming, and pairs well with eyeball collection.

"And I'm not telling"

Posts about it on the Boards anyway.

movement speed isnt that important, W is all you need, and AD and Tankiness is priority #1 on supp pyke if your going jung rush lethality like duskblade and youmuus and mid/top tank ad like black cleaver and a hydra, then straight tank that simple :I
