Does preseason effect your.mmr for your placements.

I've been playing ranked and destroying with shyvana. This may finally be my chance to escape if they don't Nerf her in 8.2. I've been hardstuck b4 for a long time. I've just 75 lp which almost never happens. Anyways the pre season rank doesn't matter but what about mmr. Will it effect my mmr for placements

Yes playing ranked will affect your mmr, thats why people play pre season not to climb but to win as much as they can and raise their mmr a bit higher so they get slightly better placements and mmr next season
