I'll be the first to admit I've derped and banned a champion my team was playing. Hell, I've even banned MY OWN pick.

Honest mistakes can be made, we're not all dicks, just irksome idiots.

when you ban someone that your team has selected it appears grayed out and the role symbol under the icon, people either don't pay attention or troll

If you ask me you shouldn't be able to ban champs that were selected by your team mates period.

Yeah you should. Sought after picks could be banned if person is last pick to deny it being picked up. Or just simply be a useful low elo players can't play Lee so I will for my own teams sake

Actually, they added the icon of you hovering it to the champion portrait. If you are Mid and go to ban Yasuo not realizing your Top has Yasuo hovered, you'll see the Top icon right above Yasuo's portrait.

Wouldn't be surprised if the warning pop-up occasionally crashed the client during promo games.
