And... he still sucks. I'm sorry but he is. Unless he gets a rework he'll always remain to be a much sh!ttier version of Renekton.

He's a pure tank that's pathetically easy to kite, with an atrocious late game. You counter him by denying him of any farm, which is very easy to do if you're ranged with a decent movement speed steroid. You don't even have to be ranged; percentage damage can wreck him.

Garen's 35% MS buff at rank 1 for only 1.5 seconds is beyond laughable.

Garen is not a tank. He cannot peel, he cannot lockdown, he can only tank... for himself. If you build him full tank, you will be ignored.

I agree; he does literally NOTHING to your team. He's just a big block of wall that's... there that does nothing. Your enemy can easily just walk past him. Silence? Pffft. Won't stop them from autoattacking your ADC to death. I mean, what are you going to do - be a half-decent interruptor of Katarina's ult?

And that's the BEST case scenario. In reality your lane opponent will deny you of farm so easily because you're an 100% melee champion with a terrible 1.5 second 35% speed boost and NO gap closer.

He's bad. REALLY bad. He can build as a self-tank and ONLY as a self-tank. Even as a 100% self-tank there are much better options. End game a smart opponent can easily build Liandries or BoRK against you and you can't do jack.

I have no idea what you guys are talking about Garen is strong with the fact of his w q and his ult . much on Renkton I love to get triforce for his q and Renkton w. But Garen has hp regen. Once your like lvl 12 or something you can solo baron because your un affected by jungle monsters so your passive will stay and not get negated
