A champion with INSTANT 700 range gap closer with free resets and free manaless pokes is extremely toxic to the game. I don't care if you have one CC or not; her QWE does more enough damage for the ult to even matter.

Just because she's 1v5 pentaing doesn't mean your team is doing terrible. and IT IS that hard to counter her because she can just e out of anything and qewr and get all her health back.

If your team is smart and buys a defensive item, she'll need her ult to get a kill. When she ults, there's time to CC and kill her before she gets the reset to escape.

If she E' into a fight yet is unable to score a kill or assist, her E remains on cooldown for 12 / 10.5 / 9 / 7.5 / 6. And this isn't the first ability she maxes so it will be mid/late game before she can do that. Simply put, if she doesn't get a kill, she's as good as dead because Leona can burst her to more than half health.

Then someone seriously did not care to notice her diving the weakest person on your team. She should not be shunpo-ing more than once unless you openly let her jump your support/adc.

But you make a good point though, nobody in their right mind has ever thought of... killing champions, because it's not like killing them will put them out of play for 30-60 seconds, will grant you a hefty amount of gold, will cause the other champion to lose CS, etc.

Truth. I hate the general idea of resourceless champions (every champ is stuck with cds, not everyone has a secondary resource). However, there are reliable strategies to deal with her and that spin to win can easily mean feast or famine.

Her poke is weak, her damage outside of her ult is just pathetic, her waveclear is subpar at best, and her ult is hilariously easy to counter.. but... that passive though

Epilogue of Life1 votesIf the first half of Akali's Q is considered poke...I don't even wanna continue this conversation anymore...and just fyi, champs like Zed and Akali use energy, and they run out at critical moments--it's a large part of the counterplays to these champions, go in as soon as they run themselves out of energy.

AnonymousZao1 votesAs someone who loves to play full AP Morgana, I enjoy shutting down Kat's all the time. Let her start her ult, E + Q + W + R, interrupted her ult, she can't move, you're shielded and if you activate while you're ult is going off you're doing tons of damage, taking no hits, and once your is up your ult should end and now everyone in range, if they are still alive, is stunned. Now your Q should be just about off CD and you and your team can starting cleaning up.
