grade system needs some serious reworks.

  1. it shouldnt depend on win/lose. if my entire team has 4 kills and 38 deaths and im actually 4/1/0 and i have so much farm i still get an s- it shouldn just give me 200 points. more like 2k, because getting an s- when your entire team gets most likely a D is quite the fucking performance. its stupid that you only get 1000+ mastery points on s if you win.

  2. fix it for gamemodes (mainly aram). cant be that a 16/0/44 janna gets a b+ because she has only 2 cs. thats fucking stupid. you can go 0/20/0 in aram, but if you have over 100 cs you will most likely end up in the S grades. totally stupid. best example is when i get sivir. doesnt matter what kda i have, with sivir i usually have A or S grades. especially because there are 5 ppl and a tower which all throw their shit at minions. farming in aram is impossible.

  3. farm on summoners rift. how does it make sense that my team has 57 kills, im 0/0/0 but get an S because i have almost 700 farm, 400 more than the 2nd best player? this is actually a good thing for trolls. its rare but i do see ppl (especially junglers) only farm and also farm lanes all the time and say "only need the S- for a chest".

  4. it would be nice if the grade was role-specific. a support with over 200 cs should not get an S. unless he has a relic shield and the game lasted 5 hours. meanwhile (since riot loves farm so much) a 0/8/1 midlane shouldnt get an S for having 300 farm in a 20min game.

and a small thing that is actually not worth mentioning: "stfu im xy main i have over 500k mastery points on this champ" and you still are in low elo? that means you play him a lot, but you suck. otherwise you'd be plat or diamond. high mastery lv says nothing if you are still hardstuck in low elo or your kda with that champ is highly negative.

It doesn't depend on win/lose. Whether you won or lost has absolutely 0 impact on your score. Your score is based on a few things:

KDA vs average for your champion in that role. CS vs average for your champion in that role (for support, CS has a lower impact and assists specifically have higher impact). Damage dealt/allies healed/shielded Ward score (also has higher impact for supports than other classes)

All of these are counted against the average for other people playing that champion in that role. As an example, if Jhin has an average 60% kill participation (just pulling numbers out of my ass), then 80% kill participation would qualify you for an S+ rank to satisfy that requirement (again, just pulling numbers out of my ass).

If one is exceptionally high (500 cs in a 40 minute game, as an example), it and none of them are exceptionally low (ie you don't have a 0.1 KDA, meaning 10x more deaths than kills/assists), you can qualify for an S rank off of your CS alone.

nr 1 is totally wrong. i justl ost a game and got S. not even 250 points. before that i won a game and got A- almost 900 points. it does depend on win/lose.

and allies healed does not count in it at all. in OFA i played soraka ad and didnt level my w at all because obviously i dont wanna drain my own health. got an A+ with only my ult. i didnt even heal 1/10 from what every other soraka healed.

I'm clearly not talking about how many points you receive specifically, but about which grade you got. Also, the grade system takes into account not just your champion, but also your locations throughout the map and your build to decide what role you're playing them in. It saw your ADC build and decided you were playing this support as an ADC, and because almost nobody does that, there's less things to grade you on, getting a higher grade guaranteed.

The two problems I have with it are:

  1. The weight of CS regardless of role. Playing jungle I can have amazing games and carry a team and get A. Then I can go 2/2/3 and farm all game and score S.....wtf? I find if I can get 250+ cs on any jungler and have a decent line it is almost always an S. Jungler and support should not be so heavily tied to CS.

  2. When there is a major change, reset the stats for a champ. Some champs when improved makes every get S super fast cause you are doing better than months of players just because of a game change. Also the other way, if the game gets a major change that disadvantages a champ suddenly that champ can't do as well, it shouldn't be compared to the previous versions. There are some champs I have previously gotten S almost every game, and then suddenly there is a game change and immediately it is harder.

Considering this is one of the few ways some peopel get champs, make it a real system. Riot if you don't care about it then just remove it.
