Okay to be honest I am reaaallly confused over Kalista's "core" identity. When I read her story, or old story not sure which story she has now. She is a spirit of vengeance that takes the souls of the betrayed under a sworn oath and avenges them. No where do I see anything being promoted as "oh and she is a nimble fighter that brings nightmares to melee people by jumping around them and attacking. That's how she chases them down, hop hop hop. Forgot to mention that overloaded part."
Which seems to be Kallista's biggest issue. She has an overloaded kit that brings a dual identity that conflicts. A duelist and utility team fighter, they are too much of opposites being mixed into one. She's a duelist with her passive, and a team working spirit of vengeance with everything else. When working it forces her into a binary state that you have to burst het down, else she hops into victory.
I love Kalista's kit, except hate that god forsaken passive. I just don't get it, I see her passive as an overloaded tac on toxic inducing ability, NOT her core kit. I see her Core kit being her other abilities that are about working with her oathsworn (w and ult), exacting vengeance near or far (q), and being that inevitable hand of vengeance that reeks out revenge and death (e). Her passive is uhhh ... BUNNY RABBIT DEATH HOP! Yeah rar!
I just don't see it. Her passive is, always, and forever more a tacked on overloaded toxic passive that doesn't fit. It gives her this unbalancing nightmare dual identity bull crap. Replace it with balance it or lose her.
