Her current skins have her fingers as "claw like" so it only makes sense a more human depiction would have longer fingernails.
Uhm... those are her normal fingers. So what is wrong with them? She doesn't have standard human female fingers if that is your issue.

She is basically undead, so she is going to be somewhat withered.
Looks to me like she has that same look to her hands in game, so there should be no reason why they aren't in splash.

I mean no offense to everyone but jeez guys the IN GAME skin is so good. So Riot wanted to depict kalista with her normal janky hands. Okay xD
