Taliyah W question

Any word on whether or not Riot plans on either reverting or adding the option to use her W like it was before the vector casting since (almost) everyone hates it now? At least the vocal ones, with a small number of people speaking against them

Not a fan of vector casting, but I can live with it. But I CAN'T live with the horrible excuse for an AoE indicator that it has. The indicator you see when you hover over the ability, I mean.

As a Taliyah main I disagree. Just learn to smartcast it by holding down then releasing it's 1000x better. It really opens up options to let you w > q > e then protobelt to the face for the instagibb.

can W add a circle range indicator to show where will be knock up for herself reference?

I mean press W => show the circle range

move the mouse to show the knockup direction

Would be nice if they reverted or allowed toggling of vector cast as it feels clunkier then the double casting. Also hoping they put the lockout back in along with a bit of the e damage they took out as w e feels a lot more generic than having to use e before w.

Kind of sad that the changes happened because riot listened to the community.

I feel like ever since they changed it to Vector Cast, I haven't been able to play Taliyah Taliyah as effective as I used to. The sequence I would use for abilites would be to cast [E] then fling someone using [W]. Now that it's on Vector Cast, being able to pull this off is even harder. However, I noticed that if I did this sequence Backwards ([W] first, then immediately use [E] upon landing the [W] in the direction I want the target to go towards), I could do some decent burst on my oppenent. I think the big problem is with this change is that alot of people (myself included) had finally understood how her [W] worked & they just Blitzcrank - pulled the rug out from alot of us. On the plus side, one positive thing this change did was it's slowly teaching me about Abilities that have this kind of cast, like Rumble's [R]. I admit I'm a terrible Rumble, mainly because I'm not used to managing his resource & landing his Ult.

I haven't seen anybody arguing either way...

Funny, (almost) everyone hated the original casting, at least the "vocal ones". They're probably not going to revert it because people are going to complain either way and this type of casting keeps her more consistent with the way other champion's skills work.

Using the boards as a place to gauge the public opinion on something is generally a bad idea.

since (almost) everyone hates it now

a small vocal minority on the boards doesn't mean almost everyone hates it. I like her new W personally.
