LCS Player Age Limit?
Is there an age limit for pro LCS players? You don't see pros in their 30s and surely there are at least some excellent players above their mid 20s, so are you not allowed to go pro at an older age?

I don't believe there is an "age limit" I know that there is a minimum age the players are required to be as they get paid salaries and for legal reasons a 13 year old wouldn't be allowed to for instance. I don't think an age maximum exists. I just believe most pro's retire before then as it is a very stressful and hard job to remain on top for so long. Also the competitive scene hasn't simply been around long enough for "League of Legends Veterans" to be of a substancial age and still be playing. Hope this answered your question! -anirataK Only
I'm pretty sure the only reason you don't see "older" pro players is because many of them (dom being a good example) would rather focus on streaming for a more stable income. It's essentially like a casino, in which the LCS is a lot like the poker table whereas the actual jobs there (dealer, janitor, chip exchange person) are like streaming.
You'll also notice that a lot of athletes tend to be somewhat younger(?) and then switch careers when they're older.
Reflexes dull with age.
You have to be 17 before you can go PRO
Being a pro lol player doesn't really lend itself to having a life outside of lol. You live with the team. In the states, the studio is in an expensive part of the LA area. I saw the house Immortals was in. They had two and three to a room including the coaching staff. They had a small kitchen and much of the living space not used as sleeping quarters was for the game area. There wasn't any room for anyone to have a wife live with them even if they had one. That's not to mention most over 30 graduated college and got a job before the lol scene even took shape. Not going to give that up to put the time in to get good at lol when you already have aspirations for a family and have a good job.
