so people are just gonna take her bot lane as an adc because her w doesn't nearly make up for the fact she has two abilities while playing as an adc and only one as ap. bets out now I'm calling it.

Won't know for sure until we see the numbers if ap Kai'sa will be viable, I will say her upgraded w looks like it does a ton of damage in the preview. It goes from doing like 200 damage to doing ~700-800. Mix that in with the cd refund you get for hitting champions + passive is magic damage and it certainly sounds like it'll be a possibility.
In the road map a while back they mentioned how Vayne plays in trying to explain how Kai will play. That being a Marksmen that can get into the fight and doesn't exactly need to hide behind the team. Now given all the options she has, I could see her working in both the Jungle, Midlane, and maybe even top lane depending on how much power she has and how well she can keep out of melee range. So yes, while being a Marksmen makes her more suited to being the ADC in the botlane, she doesn't look like she needs to be tied to that slot.
