There are sooo many things I'd like to do with this, but the most interesting and creative solution I came up with is to have hard CC affect it. No, not stop it or anything like that, but possibly reduce it's damage by 10% per stun/root/taunt etc. This way you can protect your ADC at least moderately from the raging pink haired nightmare.
We could also make it a skillshot, kind of like an AOE deal. But I doubt people would go for that.

Max Q, and then the classic Q aa E. W and Thunderlord's proc means massive damage. It's not just her Q, it's the full combo.
