As much as I hate to see my favourite AP item surge in popularity and be taken at all times because of its efficiency,

I hate Lux more.

Nerf the aoe or something?

EDIT: A lot of people seem to think I mean that Rylai's on Lux is a good build, hence the downvotes; no, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that if even LUX is getting it, a really fucking pointless item for her, then there might be a problem with the item in one sense.

Similarly to Yasuo going non-crit bruiser/tank top or Tankko, the item is too efficient and people are catching on.

rylais has nothing to do with lux her E already slows and they already made the change where cc no longer stacks in the game.

Rylai's applies the slow when the damage is dealt. Lux's E slows before it deals the damage, and then Rylai's applies its slow after.

Still not a huge deal imo, but you were incorrect there.

i mean rylais does proc and not the in built slow on lux's e

the only difference is 4%

so even then op's statement is still invalid and it only applies for one second whereas lux without rylais would apply a 5 second aoe slow compared to a one second one.

if that isn't happening and lux does get a 5 second slow from rylais then that would be a bug

Do you people not understand how Rylai's works? The slow applies when damage is dealt, so it is not applied while her E is sitting there. What it does do is apply a 40% slow for 1 second on enemies hit with her E pop.

That's just a lux player that doesn't know how to build. It's not a problem with the item, just people that hear it's a good AP item and build it regardless of the champion.
