Jesus, just had a dynaQ game that we just 100% got stomped in.

Seenan··85 votes·3,542 views

Trio on my team, means there's an equal or otherwise group on their team. And holy fuck. The coordination they had in a GOLD 2 match...

They 4 man camped my jungle at one point (I was jungler), they pretty much took over our jungle entirely cause they had a strong and mobile frontline with a safe backline (why is blue ez and graves still a thing).

Like, I think I got herpes from that match. Just that match.

I never really vocally complain about dynamic queue but holy dick, that was the most stressful match I've endured in a while. I felt utterly powerless and since our trio (or quadra?) was worse, the game was virtually over at game start. If I went in, their army of mobile carries and ccers just wrecked me as a tank...or just ran away entirely.

Why the fuck is dynaQ still a thing? Games shouldn't be so one-sided that it's fucking stressful on the fact that you can't do shit. I'm not tilted, but jfc, that was just frustrating. I'm just trying to climb, I don't need these wannabe-LCS team of tryhards in my game.

Welcome to season 6.Where you play with friends or you get rekt by premades.

Actually not true. If you don't play with your friends and go solo you are more than likely to be facing a full solo team as well. Like the guy said in the original post, he queued as a trio, so the enemy likely had a trio on their team as well. It's not dynamic queues fault one trio was better than the other.

In high elo, yes, premades are a problem. But talking a gold match premades are almost never gonna be unbalanced.

It doesn't matter how you queue, you're more than likely going to have a premade in the game. Solo queue players are prioritized as fill players for premades. If they get into a match without premades, they are lucky beyond compare. While most games will have premades of equal size on both sides, VERY FEW games will have no premades at all.

WIOP64571 votes

He said there was a trio. Doesn't necessarily mean he queued as one.

Just had another right after. My team pretty much got solo'd by Yasuo in toplane and let him take down all outer turrets. Meanwhile, I can take him down near instantly. Like, why. They blamed me for the loss and probably group-reported me. Great.

I sincerely think this will be league's downfall. The only thing that might keep it afloat is e$ports cause competitive and streamers play this game for a living.

Just so you know, group reporting does nothing more to get you punished. If you did nothing wrong, then you cannot be punished, be it 1 person that reports you, or 9(though if you have the entire enemy team reporting you, you probably did do something wrong...). All a report does is flag a game for review, if there is nothing detected, nothing will be done. Regardless of how many people report you.

Also your "teammates" sound like they deserved to lose. I'm sorry you were caught up in their Karma.

I don't recall Riot ever saying that multiple reports don't affect anything. Though I do know they have at least purposely avoided correcting players when they say it. Riot has stated that only one report is needed to trigger the automated system, but that much should be obvious. This seems to be the same kind of player derived myth as people saying that asking for reports is a reportable offense. I know Riot never said that one even though they refuse to correct players saying it.

There's a reason Tantrum mentions that he got reported by multiple players. It would be utterly stupid design for a system to weigh every player reporting somebody the same as a single player reporting somebody.

Nobody11113 votes

There was a post about in lyte ask FM that said that, Multiple reports in a single game match do not increase the weight nor escalate the reported player's punishments in any way.

but the ask fm profile was shut down when lyte left, so I'll try to find you another source.

also its not stupid for them to weigh the same, cause all reports are treated the same way, they are investigated by the same system, only difference is if the person in question had prior reports which effects the punishment.

EDIT: best I can give you right now is to the thread about multiple reports and misconceptions. but the links to that specifc subject dont work :< http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/player-behavior-moderation/tvviuURj-multiple-reports-and-other-misconceptions

what do we mean by more weight? do we mean more likely to be punished, harder punishment?

I'm not too surprised that Riot did say that the number or reports don't affect weight. And I'm even less surprised that it was Lyte. Lyte has been caught in more lies that you would expect from somebody who has a degree in psychology or something.

There quite a huge difference between a single player reporting and the majority of the players in the game reporting. A single player could easily be just one player that got pissed off for some reason. But if the majority of the players in the game reported somebody, that means he more than likely did something wrong. To treat them the same would be incredibly naive.

Kubox2 votes

So then you go "More people reporting = more chance to be punished" and people cry about premades being immune to punishment and people being wrongfully punished for no reason.

The current system is perfectly fine. If you get reported in a game, you get flagged. At worst, having multiple reports should/could make your account more of a priority. But number of reports should never be the main reason to punish someone : if someone should be punished, it's because of his actions, not because more people were vocal about it. This applies to both league and reality.

xxxDogmanxxx15 votes

So... TLDR, Enemy was better so they won and now you're salty?

Dextix LT25 votes

Wrong, enemy premade was better than his premade. Making his contribution completely unimportant as a solo player.

Solo will always be in an unfair situation when premades are involved.

Their decision making and team contribution is considerably lessened and then they depend on their premades because the enemy also has premades.

xxxDogmanxxx13 votes

I hate it when people cry "Unfair" for stupid reasons. Unfair is when the enemy team is actually cheating, which is not the case here. After level 30, everybody can choose their champions, runes, and masteries. Everybody plays the way they want to. Tell me, exactly how is it unfair that the enemy team utilized better communication and coordination and won because of that? It doesn't matter whether it was premades or solos that beat his team when in the end, they lost because their team performed worse than the enemy team. That's not the enemy's fault, or dynamic queue's fault, or any other's fault, it's THEIRS alone.

Dextix LT16 votes

Yes, it matters if premades and soloes are matched together. Because one hold an inherrent advantage.

Its like saying. Lets take the full team of Real Madrid and match it with a team of random players from Spanish A league. Will that be fair? No it wont, because one team will hold an inherent advantage over the other.

Premades get advantages UNNACESABLE to solo player, unless he plays premade.

Also, you disregard the point that premades make the decisions of the solo player matter less and rob him of meaningfull team contribution.

You also do not consider the ranked integrity and how rank is desided by the system, which is out of whack with the dynamic system in place.

If they added voice chat, maaaaaaaybe...

Dextix LT4 votes

Not enough, even with voicechat problems arise.

Most of the time, the premades will know each other, they will still have their knowledge of their weaknesses, strenghts, characters. They will again, have better organization, than 5 randoms with voicechat.

Solo players are still in a bad position, while being premade gives special advatages.

blacknerdtaku1 votes

Overwatch has a dynamic queue and a voice chat.... (on top of all the other game's problems like horrid FPS drops, and the game crashing entirely, or freezing out and being unable to join and losing a rank) Yeah doesnt help much. need pure solo.

Wrinklyishness2 votes

thank you dogman for saying it like it is. This reminds me of when the dev's ruined the potential of Guildwars in season 1 because they listened to the PvE crowd rather than the PvP crowd. This is very similar, the pve crowd in this situation are the whiners who can't man up to the FACT that their dynamic team was worst than the other dynamic team and basically claim its "unfair". Whereas the PvP crowd recognize teamwork and skill = win, and that is all.

Dextix LT6 votes

"Their" in what way? When im the solo, there is no my "dynamic team", there are preamades and me. And i will be lucky if they even include me into their conversations.

I am just baffled how people think that having premades is the only way teamwork manifests.

In soloq, you had actual teamwork skills to employ, everyone had, because most of the time you had 5 solo random people, who needed to work as a team to win. Now, if you are solo, you are actively punished by the system itself.

I have no problems if my team plays worse than theirs.

I do have problems when my premade plays worse than their premade, which causes me to lose not because we failed as a team, but because their premade was better and now holds the advantages the premades have while being better than ours.

BIue Monk5 votes

Well, Riot just allowed cheating in soloQ. Dynamic Queing as 3+ (2 was also bad) is just cheating, so they get reported for that every game :) It's not because Riot allow cheating that you should use it... Respect yourself.

Amelie2 votes

Yeah, if you report people who don't get punished, your report "power" weakens. Similarly, if you report people who ARE worthy of punishment, your report power rises.

(Don't ask for a source, this info is really old lol)

Pika Fox5 votes

You lost to a proper team. Honestly i dont get the complaints, its a team game, of course better teams are going to stomp you if you cant coordinate properly. Thats the way it should be.

Amelie2 votes

But solos will NEVER be able to coordinate at the same level, so they basically always lose against the stronger/cheesier pre-made.

For example, I (a solo queue player) was put against a 3 man premade (Top/Mid/ADC). That was Malphite/Orianna/Twitch. They did a cheese strategy which was put the Orianna ball on Twitch, have him stealth in the middle of our team, Orianna would ult, Malphite would ult, and my team melted with 0 chance to react. Rinse and repeat until they won.

Can you coordinate that in a pure Solo queue? I would love to see you try.

Pika Fox2 votes

You can, you have a box to chat with, and a rather in depth ping system. You choose not to try, so you dont do anything about that.

Also... thats not much of a cheese strat. Buy pink wards, buy red trinket..... Seriously, you dont even need team coordination to do something about that, you just need to buy something other than a 4th IE.

I didn't choose not to try, I was the one pinging the most in that entire matchup. At one point, I saw a long string downwards of solely my danger or missing pings. I was the initiator for the most part, since we otherwise didn't have any in the first matchup. If you think I solely buy damage items, go look at my profile. You'll see I don't even buy Raba unless necessary and would never buy a double-item cause of inefficiency.

Accuse me though.

As for Amelie's cheese strategy scenario, all it takes is one teamfight-ace to push down an inhib because of how weak towers are. It's easier to switch strategies as a premade on the fly, in any case.

HazyCloud71 votes

Don't waste your time trying to explain it man. If anyone has a hard time understanding that pre-mades are inherently more coordinated than a bunch of solo players you wont be able to convince them otherwise.

Amelie1 votes

You might be surprised how effective it is against solo or uncoordinated players. Even though it kept happening literally all game, my team was always caught off guard.

One player knowing what's up doesn't make up for the rest of your teammates' lack of understanding - especially if they IGNORE your pings/warnings or mute you because they got tilted.

I can't make my teammates not buy that 4th IE, or use a sweeper. And I personally can't know the exact moment or angle that a stealthed Twitch is going to waltz into our team. I would need to be able to place more than one pink.

Pika Fox2 votes

And? Then you deserve to lose, solo queue or DQ it doesnt matter. Your team refused to cooperate and adapt, theirs did.

Amelie2 votes

I think the problem seems to be you assume each match is a fair game. In which case, everything you say absolutely makes sense.

But teams aren't matched up evenly. If they were, one-sided stomps like the OP posted (and I and many others have experienced) simply would not happen.

That might not matter to you, or maybe you think that's just part of the game.

But a lot of frustration comes from uneven matches and the feeling that you can't do anything to influence the game. You would have to coordinate or play on a much higher level than your opponent, and I really think that's unfair to ask of solo players.

Pika Fox1 votes

Thats ranked in a nutshell, solo queue or dynamic queue. Thats what happens when youre completely outskilled as a team, or you make too many mistakes. It will happen less when you either adapt to play properly or drop in ELO.

So I guess putting the best players in Football against the best team is considered fair. Like it or not, that is how DQ is going.

MigYalle4 votes

This is what happens when you put a team who aren't boosted animals together vs. boosted animals. I had my ranked team play a 5 man queue during this season ONCE. We took inhibitor by 11 minutes, Rift at 12, 2nd Inhibitor by 14, and ended the game by 16. I have photo proof as well. It's disgusting how these premades play. I quit ranked a few months ago cause of how much of a lack of competition there is anymore. Win lane, lose the game cause the enemy teams premades are better. Annoying to us solo players.

You could get a premade5 in bronze and probably make it to gold if you try hard enough; climbing's easy for the most part, if you get reliable odds on your premade and premade enemy.

Cookimonster3163 votes

I've gotten from silver 4 to Plat 2 only playing solo this season, so I don't see why everyone is saying every game has a premade I guess you can say i'm lucky, but climbing isn't about which team has a better premade. (I had 0 5-man premades and 1 4-man premade in silver)

Skilled than me? Not unless they're plat/diamonds+, but their champs kited Volibear well for the most part. I'm positive they communicated to pick champs capable of that as-well. And on the note of plat/diamonds, the un-boosted plat/diamonds.

But, explain how my team straight up couldn't catch a Yasuo as Voli/Hec/Karma (he would just get double kills on the pair that tried, or close), then when I walked my sexy-ass in that mf, I just killed him instantly, ult not usually needed. Then they blamed me for the loss. That was the next dynaQ game I played with a trio on both teams.

For the first game, still a trio between, as a guess, jglr, one of their bot laners, and mid. Their Alistar was always on the ball, going ham when needed while his premade would do other effective shit. Not like I could catch them as Voli anyway since they got kiting champs.

Baron of Bread1 votes

Being able to counterpick isn't restricted to premades. If I see an easy champion to counter I will pick something to nullify them, especially if it is a powerhouse like Voli.

Wrinklyishness2 votes

They do Voidrey. Its because they can't own up to their own poor skill level and the poor skill levels of their friends. Its really quite sad, its the generation of blaming others rather than taking ownership of your own mistakes speaking up on this.

Pierce The Veal3 votes

I've faced amazing coordination from solo Q players before, but Dynamic Q makes it that much easier for it to happen.

P4ppino3 votes

Alright, so the enemy team was better, and they won the game. Most curious.

The Last Ballad2 votes

I did that one game, but the difference was that only I and the adc(I was support) were a premade(to my knowledge) and it was bot lane and bot jungle being camped by us(top was ganked sometimes...). Bard(moi) Tristana(my sister) Lee Sin(the jungler) (some forgotten mid laner) went around and just dived them repeatedly, while top held their own. None of this was coordinated through chat(the ganking bot/counter jungling part, we did chat about other things like dragon) but it happened anyway.

In other words, 4 man ganks on a lane is a good strategy, not just something that happens with 4 man premades.

Dextix LT7 votes

Yes, it happens with soloes too. But premades can do this far better and more effectively because they already have a game plan.

The main problems stems from that the solo players contribution doesnt matter and he is dependant on his premade being good rather than his own skill.

Apostle of Light2 votes

I understand your point. However, how is this experience really any different than solo queue? You're often going to get paired with people who are worse than the enemy team, regardless of whether they happen to be in a premade or not. It happens. That's LoL matchmaking. Just my two cents

EddardStark841 votes

Because Dynaque inherently allows a higher variation of skill levels to be in the same game against each other. That in and of itself is already a HUGE difference from the way Solo que was compared to an equivalent dyna que game. On top of that, the team with the better communication is at an advantage compared to the other team. If you're the solo member in the que on a team that doesn't communicate as well as the pre-made party on the other side...how on EARTH is that fair to you? It's not.

ElysMustache1 votes

Let me get this straight. You're upset because the enemy team is playing correctly?

Anags1 votes

Because sromps never occurred in previous seasons. Just get out of here with this crap.

Your team had a bad game and the other team actually knew to take away your jungle.
