yeah talon is pretty trash

urge to dodge when i see him picked is pretty strong since hes basically a dead weight all game

have you misplaced your r key? last time i checked, you go in with e and get out with ult. its not that hard, unless you e into a nautilus or a leona. but then youve got other problems.

You picked a bad engage

Goes in and takes half of enemy health. Enemy sits there knowing I don't have anything else. Kill me since i have no escapes.

Pretty much every bursty QWER rotation in the game does almost exactly 50% of your HP pool at any given level. If your target builds defense while you build offense - same general deal. You can only nuke them from 100%-->50%.

Riot didn't make any champions that can 100%-->0% an opponent by default, that can do that as their core identity. To 100%-->0% a target as any burst caster, you need:

1. a solid level advantage over your opponent - meaning more base QWER damage for you (~40 per level) and less base HP for your opponent (~80 per level).
2. a solid itemization advantage over your opponent - more AD/AP/penetrations to scale up your damage.
3. Target an opponent late-game that's completely and consciously neglected defense of any kind.
4. Just target someone at 50% HP.

Anyways - what you're saying isn't indicative of a Talon problem so much as an issue with learning how to play any assassin.
