Yup lol. As soon as someone tells you "I looked at your match history and..." you know they aren't a fun person to play with. They vet their solo queue teammates as if they're recruiting for a professional team, but are really good at not holding themself to the same standard.

Yep, ran into someone like this earlier today.
Had about 3 bad games in a row with 
in the jungle today, simply because I was a bit frustrated over life things. And someone told me not to use Xin because I apparently suck at him.
Lets just say. I hard carried that game and made that fool shutup.
Well I definitely check people out in solo q...not gonna lie there! xD
But I don't sit there and bad mouth them and make them feel shitty, unless i look at there match history and they lost the past 20 games in a row and went 0-30 in every one of them. THEN ill say something like "trollings not nice ass hat!" and leave.
But I more look up peoples stats rather than match history because there's a lot more informative in telling me if that player is any good at said champ. If I dont like a certain players stats on my team and I feel like they would hold me back, I simply just leave the lobby, lose 3lp, wait 5minutes, then re que.

Well if someone is talking all that good shit about how they hard carry every game with X champion Yeah I'm gonna take a peek. If the stats don't match up with the talk then I know I I honestly can't have faith in what you say. So I'm going to take that lane if I believe I'm going to do the role better.
A lot of people are nowhere near as good as they think they are and the ones that talk big are the ones you gotta worry about the most. Champion mastery banners are helping these people out too.
Just to give an example I had a game earlier and my top lane riven had mastery 5. I thought hey this is gonna be a good riven. 2:45 seconds in. First blood. I watch them tp back into lane and die again in under 30 seconds. they had 5 deaths by 15 minutes and not a single kill. I understand it was a rough lane but damn. Stats aren't the enemy. People who lie about them are.
People's match histories only come into play for me when I'm scouting out my teammates in ranked and see one has a sub-30% win rate overall or has never played their chosen champion before or never play their chosen role or are trash with their chosen champion. I never rag on anyone based upon any of that, though, unless they're talking up a storm and, in reality, can't back any of that talk up.
What I personally hate is when people can't even look up your match history properly. I have 123 ranked games with 
this season. I brought this up in champ select one match because I really wanted to go top and thought my stats with Garen, while not spectacular, would be enough to sway them. One of my teammates looked me up on Lolking and must've been looking only at the "recent statistics" tabs, because they accused me of lying, saying I only had a couple matches or so with him and hadn't done that well in them. I tried to point out their mistake, telling them to check OP.GG, and they simply refused to believe me. They then spent the entire match basically trolling me over this.
One of dem sick strats... you check their match history, and then camp them if you're jungling or roam over there and kill that feeder. Thank you Lolking/Lolnexus/Etc.
Would be great if Riot blocked access of out match histories to outside sources; but that makes sense.
I check people's match history if they plan on going the lane I would normally go. If they are on a loss streak (3+ games) then I'm gonna take that lane from them. I have no faith in that persons abilities. I don't know them, but I know myself and I know what I can do. Also, people on streaks like that are often on hard mode tilt. And they tend to play poorly when that happens, without even realizing it.
I don't check their mach history.
I just check their K/D on na.op.gg

Saw a video where the jungler checked the opponents match history and heavily ganked the enemy with the highest amount of feeding or afk games
