This champion is impossible to play against in lane with his ridiculous over the top sustain and a kit so overloaded that he puts lee sin to shame. Ignited him? useless, he's just gonna burrow and gain health faster than the ignite ticks. He escaped with his tunnels and his bs movespeed? No worries brah, he will be back in seconds with his twisted fate ult. Bursted you down with all tank items? GG rekt outplayed noob. This champion literally does what every other champion does only better. Thank you based riot for releasing a finely designed champion with clear strengths and exploitable weaknesses.

Rek'sai is female.

Perhaps you should be stepping on her tunnels if you're laning against her? Tunnel is on a 20-30 second CD and if she uses it to gapclose you she has no escape if you've been collapsing other tunnels properly. Note that doing so also pretty much prevents her ult from being used.

Her ult is also not like TF's as TF can teleport anywhere within a 5500 unit radius, whereas Rek'sai has to teleport to a pre-placed tunnel.

It's on a 20 second cd, and it scales down to 18. Where the hell are you getting the 30 second number from?

The point was that it was on a long cooldown. The number was irrelevant.

Compare the CD of Rek'sai's gapcloser/mobility tool with the CD of pretty much every other champion with a mobility CD that's not their ult, and you'll see that it is, in fact, the longest CD non-ult mobility tool.

Plus nerfing Rek'sai top just hurts jungle Rek'sai (can't nerf one without harming the other), which is what she was designed for. Do you really want to go back to seeing only Lee Sin/Kha'zix/Jarvan jungling?

Except, no, it's not irrelevant.

When we talk about the power of a spell, cooldowns are a huge factor. Many spells are, in fact, balanced around the fact that they have high cd. We call them ultimates.

Now, with that said, unlike literally every other gapcloser, Rek'sai's is the only one where she leaves a tunnel behind to use it again without even having to recast the spell. Furthermore, that's a false argument you are using. Just because Rek'sai gets nerfed doesn't mean that it will automatically go back to being a Lee/Kha/J4 jungle meta. In point of fact, it's an entirely moot argument since almost nobody even jungles with her in the first place.

Even when your jungler comes to help gank a completely pushed up reksai, combined with slows and snares both from the laner and the jungler, the bitch gets away, and this is on the UNFED edition of reksai.

I don't even mind if the champion is strong, but there are literally no risks for doing anything. A person can have wreckless decision making on rek'sai and still be fine. Is this what they meant by Strategic Diversity in the pre-season dev blog?

She will get nerfs sooner or later. Anyone who thinks she is balanced right now is pretty bad at this game or is using her to win some ranked games.

And this "non combat" ult perma as speed lol. I remember why riot changed Jax, Vlad and Kayle passives and now we are all over this shit again? How many champs have perma steroids? All I can think of right now is Zed and he is currently best assassin in the game.
