Consecutive kills really need to give reduced gold

Bad players who are feeding (even if not intentionally) have way too much impact on the outcome of the game, as a source of gold for the other team.

This really needs to be scaled back. Games shouldn't become a completely unwinnable clusterfuck because the jungle has died attempting to dive three times by 10 minutes.

Yeah, that already happens: https://leagueoflegends.fandom.com/wiki/Kill

And the only time this happens:

Is when you give up and decide it's over. Game doesn't end till the Nexus explodes. Play like it.

Yeah, uh, no, that's not how high elo games work, sorry. You may think otherwise because you have no experience at a level where people don't throw their advantage with ridiculous mistakes.

It's extremely hard to throw if you're up 4-5 kills on a single champion.

Seeing as people throw advantages at levels of play, including the pros, not gonna believe you.

Stop making excuses and blaming Riot.

Wasn't there a game in a tournament a few months ago where the Nexus didn't explode but Riot declared one team the winner because they were pretty far ahead and the game had crashed?

Isn't that why shut down gold became so op?

It's insanely hard to collect the shut down gold in high MMR games.

With a big advantage, they have to make a massive mistake to actually die, and the person who fed them is likely completely useless and won't become relevant before the game ends. League isn't entirely skill based like sports, it's also a numbers game, which you lose when you're at a disadvantage.

Also, while they have the advantage, you can easily be shoved out of lane or denied CS, especially if they can freeze the lane. You're completely fucked with no recourse.

And on the off chance you do collect it, you probably now have a bounty and are still behind.

i.e. I just had a Morde + Alistar duo with a combined 17 deaths at 20 minutes. Either the Yi or Lucian they fed would take at least 3 of us to kill alone, without their team mates

consecutive kills need to give bounties. you kill a champion with a bounty as part of a chain and you don't get the bounty they had. you only get bounty off the first kill if they have one.

It's really not so much the gold that they give when they die as it is that they become completely worthless by being off the map for so long
