Riot: The Conformists

Riot doesn't appreciate the players who have been there from the start. The only thing they want is more. New players come along from playing Call of Duty and go

• These games are super long!!
• Towers r 2 strong
• Champs so boring
• Story so boring
• need new items

While allot of players who started playing Season 1/2 were original RTS players who thought the games were short. Atleast for me, that was the appeal.

• I liked the ORIGINAL story and lore behind league. The Institute of War. That is why you have a SUMMONER name and you play as a CHAMPION.

• I loved 35-55 minute games because that allowed the use of strategy and not 16-0 Q-mashing Kha'Zix to come along and end the game at 15 minutes.

• I loved the creative uses of simple mechanics, instead of overly-complex mechanics that are used the same way every fight.

• I liked not losing the game because their bot lane is aggressive and mine is passive.

• Half my ranked games in Plat are ending before 15 minutes.

• Team balance is so fucked up that I am the highest rank on the team, while my teammates are the lowest ranks in the whole match. I first-timed Azir vs a 1-trick Cassiopeia and held lane until my Tahm Kench Jungler came along and gave 4 kills + blue buff for no reason at all before I died ONCE.

I've uninstalled League. I'll come back at mid-season. If things arent changed I can't come back. There has been no sign in a change of attitude from Riot since Season 5. It's all been downhill. Then the mindless old players who go "Riot is listening!! BAKER PANTHEON!!! THEY CARE ABOUT US!!" no. It's marketing. That's all they really want. More money. Understandable as a business. All the "Cool games" today are the fast-paced brainless mash keyboard games, so why not follow the market?

I won't be checking the forums on this account again, up or downvote. I dont care. This is my opinion and this is why I quit.
