Look, Lux is a secondary AP carry. "Kill stealing" is only a concept used by low elos.

As long as she has a sightstone and is warding, she should be building AP like any other midlaner because she offers zone control, burst damage, range, and damage mitigation. It doesn't matter who get the kills if the enemy dies because they lose exp and farm and you both share exp and gold. It creates a deficit regardless of who secures the kill. If you can't make up that difference with 30s to 1 min of uncontested free farm, then you're honestly just garbage and it wouldn't matter if you got the kills anyway. You'd still be garbage.

I know. I don't care if I get the kill or not, I just never happen to get kills in my games. I always have 12+ assists no matter my position. I did the most damage that game, I just didn't get the last hit on the kills (which is what a normal support does).

lux is one of my favorite supports to lane against, she is as squishy as sona but doesn't offer the same poke and healing sona does, please keep going lux support.

To be fair AP Sona can burst down a Lux fairly easily with her poke as well. It's basically player skill and good positioning.

well unlike sona her Q is a skillshot which is easy to dodge, if i get caught in it then i deserve to die other than that her E could be slightly annoying but it's not that bad.

Have you tried getting frost queen and a ruby sightstone? The ruby sightstone also let's zhonyas and redemption or other active item abilities more efficient.

IMO the way i play her is, every kill in lane i can give is for teammates, but if i catch a squishy with a q+e+ult and they die sorry but its hard to share those, and sometimes people complain like "oh i caught their adc and one shot em and now im 1/2/10" teammate: stop ks

I do Q R E and then they are 50hp and then teammate comes in an attacks once

Sorry, but it takes more than a brain dead kid to win with lux. but yes, your kit is what all supports who are ap based should have. All supports should have sweeper as well as vision stones, and should provide kills and gain assists, this is very basic knowledge of the role. The post is nothing new, but I guess for anyone not being around the boards in like "ever" could benefit while you toot ur horns.
