I do believe the darius buffs currently on pbe to be agree-able and sufficient

Nothing more need be done after that, for fear of over-buffing. Hopefully this is enough to bring him from te depths of WR hell to a respectable 49-51% range.

If it for whatever reason happens to be a bit of an overbuff the bleed can go from 13-30 to 10-30 to keep his level 1 in check (even though his level 1 cheese didn't really occur often in higher elos, at least not successfully).

Some darius mains had asked for AS, but I believe giving darius AS is contrary to the noble goals stated in his update during the juggernaut patch. He should have a reliance to spellcasting and mana. His purely auto trading SHOULDN'T be optimal at all.

Darius getting attack speed would be the dumbest change possible. If you want attack speed on him, you should have to opt into it - not just use whatever runes you want and still automatically win any trades before level 4 out of sheer base stats and right clicks.

I do believe a buff to his passive is exactly what he should be getting. It rewards playing around it for both parties - Darius himself and his opponents - and avoids him going back to being the hands down strongest top laner in the game simply because he outstats everything from the very beginning of the game.

Maokai got an AS buff and he is over the top as it is - giving Darius attack speed is asking for a repeat of the season 5 juggernaut 1v5 meta.

Agreed, riot has no business giving darius AS to appease the minority within the darius community that want him to be overwhelming.

Lucky for us, the balance team is impartial enough to realize this. This whole topic is just as silly as asking for lethal tempo's delay to be removed.

I dont play Darius but I would have appretiated an atk speed buff, mainly to make is e-AA-w feel smother

As someone with over 2 million mastery points I can assure you that AA > W is already smooth with minimal attack speed.
