This has been ignored for too long, and bug reports don't seem to matter to riot

Fix the interaction between yorick's cage and auto resets like darius W. This is actually a GAMEBREAKING BUG, it singlehandedly fucks matchups like darius vs yorick.

Yorick rework has been out for a while, this has been visible and complained about for a while, quit the bullshit.

No champion should be allowed to hard win a matchup because of a buggy ass interaction.

EDIT

For those unaware, if you try to use an auto reset on yorick cage your champ spazzes out and does nothing. If darius crippling strikes yoricks cage, he'll just keep spinning without doing any damage until crippling strike wears off (think of it as like a free 2-3 second stun for yorick, that is 100% gamebreaking).

Some of these threads contain video documentation and others are textual in nature. The point is that they were all fucking ignored and they're all months to even a year or more old and they're all in the bug reports section.

This is in NO way a MINOR bug, it is a 100% GAMEBREAKING, AUTO WINNING BUG for yorick in certain matchups, most notably the darius matchup.

Oh look at that, yorick is still one of, if not darius's absolute worst matchup, and it's been that way pretty much since yorick rework. In and of itself, that isn't an issue, but I can tell you through my experience, that it's illegitimate, because 90% of that result is from this bug.

I think it's absolutely fucking insulting that meddler answers to a thread complaining that yorick taking aftershock automatically swaps aftershock to grasp. What fucking yorick takes aftershock? What a fucking joke.

Applause is due for Riot WittRock! The bug will be fixed in the coming patch. I have debated taking this thread down since it is resolved, but I will let things take their course and let this thread naturally die in the one to two days it takes for that to happen.

Looked into this, found what seems to be the fix. This should clean up some similar funkiness his W sometimes had against towers, inhibitors, and wards as well.

The fix should show up on PBE tomorrow or Monday.

And you're angreyy!!! because RIot can't snap their fingers and fix a problem post haste, when you feel like you want a fix. Riot can also disable a champion if they do think the problem affects many people but they don't have a fix or workaround in place, as of that moment.

This is not an issue of "le egdy rito fanboyz" like you think it is and it's about time you drop the stupid little kid act that never helps anyone in an argument.

<Removed by Moderation> theres no way you could defend this, the problem was found in pbe its pretty apparent they didnt care enough to fix it then and have no idea when they will. and theres in incredibly easy work around for this disable swain in ranked lmao. you shouldnt even take new champs into ranked and that would make it much better on anyone but im sure theres some great reason they couldnt do that huh?

I get what you're saying but at the same time when is the appropriate time to add a champ back to rank? I know in Overwatch they aren't available for a whole week so people can get used to them. how do we decide when the appropriate time is to add someone back into rank games? Someone could have spent over 24 hours by now playing the new Swain and still be mediocre at him. While someone else might be better at mechanics and such and have only played 8 hrs of Swain and be dominating in ranked with him. So again how do we measure the appropriate time before a champ is released into rank games?

i would say a super easy way to figure out when is when you have fixed every bug a champion is going to have no release is perfect and by making sure the champion is working 100% properly in normal games you will also be giving people time to play with him if they want and not hindering the ranked experience of others

Everyone gets frustrated when you ask nicely 100 times, and bugs go on for years without being fixed. 9/10 people don't start angry, they get that way after repeated acts of incompetence.

I think he's bitching because it was a known bug in PBE and has been reported many times "nicely". While possible he could just be a jerk, I like to think that people don't start out being a jerks for no reason.

I know I've been waiting over a year for a teemo bug to get fixed with no word. So these days I get grumpy whenever it's brought it up.

Anyway, if the bug has been going on for a year with constant reports, then the guy has the right to complain and angrily so. Not get pestered by some Riot Games equivalent of a white knight.

They're aware of the issue. It's being investigated. Last update I saw, they claimed the issue wasn't limited to low end PC's and they hadn't found a pattern yet to help identify the cause. In fact, here's the post:

theres a pattern there its everyone playing on medium or lower that helps identify the cause and they for whatever reason either dont want to say the problem only effects lower end pcs or really dont care enough to fix it or do anything to ease the problems people are having, thats why im on here arguing with people everyday in the hopes that maybe this can get fixed in a timely manner preferably before i go to college

i can understand why you would think that but all i want out of this is the bug being fixed as fast as possible and disabling swain in ranked as this isn't the only bug people are having with swain, and to be entirely honest the reason i am implying things like that is attempting to put pressure on riot to understand the severity of the problem

uh great job! I bealive Darius wasn't the only one tho, if i recall correctly there should've been someone else that couldn't pass yorick's wall

other than that. Illaoi's W gets canceled and self-imobilizes herself for 1 second (she cannot move or attack again) when attacking non minion and non champions stuff, like yorick's wall for example (just click on the wall, and then click on another side of the wall while in w animation), or wards or monsters or people that become invisible/go in the fog of war

ps: kind of bad that you have to write bugs in the gameplay section instead of the bug section to have them fixed it's not the first time this happens

Will you also be fixing other bugs Darius has please? Like there are instances that the game thinks you used your ult and got the reset but an ally took it last millisecond and your R goes on CD. Its a tad annoying...

It is really nice to see a Rioter looking into the matter and trying to find a solution to a bug that is posted in boards. The question I have is: Why it has to come to the point where people are so frustrated they have to start close to rage threads to be heard?

Personally I reported a game breaking bug for Karthus a long long time ago (like season 5) on forums and by ticket. It wasn't solved up to this day and it lowers drastically his damage output, makes it clunky to use Q and in result makes it also easy as hell to dodge it.

I've heard this happens with specifically Yorick's wall on other auto-reset champions, though admittedly I don't know which off the top of my head. Looking at Yorick's wall may still be on the table.

There is no "height" feature in league, just because the visual effect looks like you went over it doesn't mean anything. In short it isn't a bug, it is a feature.

That is ridiculous, such a high quality game as this should have height, that would add a whole new great dimension to Leagues gameplay. Wtf. You can jump over Jarvan's wall and Yorick's wall, don't see why I can't jump over a trap.

You don't jump over J4's wall, you dash over it. Kha'Zix, Tristana, Gnar are all dashes as far as the coding is concerned. When you dash over the trap it activates while dashing over a wall doesn't activate anything.

But it is kind of sad that game breaking bugs are allowed to sit around for over a year (according to the OP, I neither play nor follow Darius) with multiple documented cases and only get fixed when a thread like this (that is against the boards rules because it is in the wrong sub board) gets popular.

When can Talon get the stupid reverse wall jump bug fixed for instance? I mean I average a death every couple games because I jump in place or sideways instead of getting over a wall. I've had a thread similar to this one removed in the past for posting it in gameplay after being ignored in bug report for so long. Don't even get me started on the Orianna ball invisibility bug... How long did that take, 14 months to fix (I'm pretty sure I made 2-3 threads on it during that time, even got a riot response that said it was a client side issue and I should repair)? I literally dropped the champion entirely during that time because I would end up playing every game with no ball visible.

Well that's more than frustrating. Must be a side-effect of them making buffs not usable on wards. I hope they fix it since it indeed breaks the matchup.
