Newsflash: Ezreal isn't broken

They fixed the one problem that he was having. Now he is no longer proccing muramana 2 times in the late game.

Klepto doesn't in anyway make Ezreal more broken than any other ranged champion that takes it. Klepto is just broken on ranged champions. It isn't just Ezreal.

I mean I would wager that the problem is the boards is just bad at positioning to dodge his Q. It happens every time an on hit item comes out strong. First thing to blame is Ezreal, but half the time I play him people don't even try to dodge my Q or even make it hard for me to hit them with it. Even when they do it seems like they also forget that minions die so I can snipe them with a Q right as a minion dies. And to top it off his late game is completely reliant on hitting Q's which is the point that you should have the most MS to invalidate almost half his damage and your CC is up more often.

I think the only time Ezreal was a problem was when he was super abusing item 3025 as it covered his one weakness late game. It made his Q's easier to hit against more mobile teams. Klepto makes Ezreal sacrifice damage early and late for gold gain, utility, and some RNG damage early on.

I think another part is literally it was one of the first things to come up as good in the new season. I play a bunch of other champs and have found some pretty disgusting runes, but everyone is for some reason just trying to copy other people with a good rune page instead of finding their own. Because I can guarantee you if you nerf Ezreal for Klepto, that there's at least 5 other champs waiting to take that spotlight as stupid broken with the new runes.

LOL I thought this was a joke but this guy was serious. His Q is an auto/spell and proxes Kleptomancy, that's what's broken with the amount of range he has. He gets too much gold and consumables already that his Q AD ratio and base AD are extremely high due to the buffs before preseason. If you think Ezreal isn't a problem, I think something's wrong with you, a champion cannot keep a play rate over 25% with a 57% win rate, this is unreal. Check your sources for information over his current stats before making a post that makes no sense.

Except he’s not wrong. Phylol’s most recent videos on 7.22 and Kleptomancy in particular support this. Data shows that Ezreal’s highest win rate is with games between roughly 20-30 minutes, short to average length games. Ezreal is an early/mid game ADC, and he is heavily item reliant. The reason he’s so strong with Klepto is because he reaches his two item power spike more quickly because of it. Once games start going past 30 minutes, his win rate plummets because he falls off hard.

It's literally the end of the first week of preseason man. People are going to try any build that pops up as strong.

And my sources. STFU man. Literally everyone is crying wolf when a patch just went out the end of yesterday. None of the info we have is accurate atm. His WR has probably dropped about 4-5% at least with the bug fix. Muramana proccing 2 times is pretty fucking huge if you ask me. That's an extra 80+ damage per Q taken away. That hurts his mid game and late game a lot.

And if you are so focused on Ezreal it's pretty damn obvious you aren't looking into new things. Everyone's mad at Klepto Ezreal, but me playing Teemo top lane 1v3ing at level 10 after taking 2 towers top lane almost every game isn't a problem? I literally have zoned Zeds from farm up there. Not going to mention the rune build because it is cancer, but if you thought about Teemo enough you could probably figure it out.

Yes, dodge all of his virtually no mana cost Qs on a 2 second CD and you'll be fine.

It's only 2s if he hits something and already had 20-30% CDR. If you deny him about 300 gold early by playing safe and letting him waste his time trying to kill you over farming you negate his gold lead.
