Enemy Ashe is nearby, arrows me, and I die from 100% in 1.5 seconds, before I can even Chronoshift. He doesn't even have enough damage to kill a support.

Exactly, his design is focused on stealing kills, which is pretty shit. Getting fed as Ekko is useless, because you can't do anything with it. There's zero reason to pick him, while other assassins can carry games with the same amount of farm.

You're confused. If Ekko's ult damages anyone, it's because the enemy team let you damage them, not because of any effort on your part, unless they're drooling retards. It's the opposite of Syndra's old scatter.

DrNova1 votesIf we are talking 100-0 here, Ekko needs a few more spell rotations then most other champs. At most stages Ekko takes a few more skill rotations/AA's to get kills.
He is best at low HP champs, which he can demolish with frightening speed. But anyone healthy, he is going to want to wait for his team.
He is kind of Ks oriented which is weird, but he does enough with his utility you cant get mad at him for "ks"ing, since he probably set up the opportunity for him to ks in the first place
