Better deterrents to dodgers

I get that ranked dodging is a precarious situation. On one hand you don't want people to get punished too harshly for dodging a game they know they are getting trolled in, but on the other hand you don't want people to dodge every game they don't find to be in their favor based on champ picks.

But having to go through 15 draft pick dodges because people didnt get the role or champ they wanted is nonsense. I'm a busy guy and sometimes i just want to queue for a game when i know i've got about an hour to spare, but sometimes it takes 20 min just to get in game.

We need better (not necessarily stricter) deterrents to people dodging normal games. Like possibly for every non-ranked game you dodge, the next game only grants half ip or something. Something to discourage people.

All i know is having to go through 5 lobbies or more every normal queue is a waste of time.

I might have said an IP penalty. but that would only affect players who don't already have every champ and rune in the game,

Try playing ranked if you don't want people to dodge. Less people dodge ranked games because you lose LP for it.

Stop playing draft normals, it's a shit mode.

Also, IP being used as a reward or whatever else is an awful idea.

I already own all the champions and runes, why the hell would I care?

Same thing with tons of other people.

People being able to dodge so they dont have to play with toxic people like you is the only reason i think it should exist at all
