Lucian good again? Or is he just better for carrying?

4.21 KDA in 12 games so far, 75% winrate. And he's getting buffs (slight buffs) again.

Seems to me that he's not really all that good, he just has higher carry potential than the meta adcs. My KDA on Jhin is a solid 3.5, for example, but my winrate sucks on him. I feel like I have no control over the game. Lucian gives me a bit more power to impact the game if I play well.

So if I am playing at a level above my MMR, Lucian would be a better pick than Jhin. But if I'm at the same level, Jhin > Lucian.

Thoughts?

dont really think he is getting buffs.

lethality got nerfed , he still has horrible range

and as far as jihn with the changes to deathsfire touch he is getting nerfed as well

The changes to him were very minor buffs, imo.

Bork changes... dunno if those will help or hurt him. I've been building it on him and the AS is very valuable... CDR boots might no longer be an option.

Lucian will always be playable for me because he is much more self-reliant than Jhin or Varus. And yeah, they're getting hit hard this patch.

hmm bork is losing attack speed...

lucian will always either be broken due to something like armor pen /leathlity builds being op... or trash cuz he dont scale with crit and has the worst range of adcs

Am I missing something here. How is losing .15 bonus ad on dft 'getting hit hard'.

I made a post about this and it was met with flame basically...varus mf are taking direct nerfs. jhin isnt.
