Evelynn Rework Breakdown

So apparently Evelynn is the newest rerelease, so I figured I'd write a breakdown of my guesses about Evelynn's new... everything. But first, we must talk about what Evelynn used to be.

Evelynn used to be basically nothing. She had no backstory aside from maybe being from the Shadow Isles. Maybe. That's boring. That's lazy. It's worse than old Yorick because at least HE had a backstory, mundane and shitarse as it was. My guess is the new Evelynn might still be from the Shadow Isles, HOWEVER, I am highly skeptical of this possibility for one reason and one reason only: her color.

Shadow Isle champions use cold colors like blue or green. Old Evelynn had blue skin, but in the image, she appears to have white skin. On top of that, part of her hair is also white, her eyes are glowing a pale gold, and parts of her hair, along with everything else, seems to radiate red from an inner light. Could this be where her powers manifest?

Obviously she still carries the theme of being a succubus, based on her appearance and how she seems to be siphoning life force from some guy in the image, who appears to have once been a young man who has withered and the color drained from his hair. In mythology, succubi take the form of a beautiful young woman, though they also possess certain bestial deformities, like bird-like claws. Sound familiar? There are multiple variations on what a succubus does, but one particular one states that sexual activity with a succubus results in the loss of physical and mental health, even death. Sound familiar?

My guess is Evelynn is the type of succubus that singles out a target and leeches their life force. Based on her quote "It is better in the dark." and her previous incarnation, stealth (namely the camouflage kind of stealth) will definitely be a huge factor in her kit, though it will probably be moved to an active in her skill (likely W) and might incorporate a blind effect like a more localized version of Nocturne's ult. There will probably be a gap closer for her as well, even if it's just a massive movement speed bonus when you're close to an enemy, namely one with a lot of health. She'll likely keep her speed as well; my guess is she is something of the AP caster assassin counterpart to what Warwick is, mechanically.

I would also dare to claim that she has some sort of marking ability like Nidalee or Kindred, or there's an incentive for her to be like Kha'zix and single out a target and punish them severely. Whatever AOE she has will be very close range like her current Hate Spike ability, and she'll gain some boon (from her mark, if she has one) from attacking a specific target, preferably the tankiest one. It'll probably be related to lifesteal/spellvamp, since her whole theme seems to be stealing life force from people.

Any crowd control she has will probably be a charm or root; something to hold the enemy in place as she sucks them dry. Not only is she heavily dependent on her own speed, but she's also dependent on slowing down the target and stopping them from escaping. Just like right now, her gameplay will be, in essence, run at the enemy until they die.
