I'll take a cancerous premade over someone feeding because they didn't get their role

Any day, month, year, century, just it's so much better this que. While you can complain there is still people feeding on purpose, it's a very small fraction (and they end up banned anyways, Riot aint playing around right now). And for the cancerous premades, it's going to be a small learning curve on just being able to ignore your team mates (or better yet, mute them) and just play off of pings and game sense.

Give it a few weeks and everyone is going to love this que.

I'm really split on this issue, but I can't really decide which one's LESS bad.

On the one hand, the "mid or feed" was tiring to see. Also, it's rather retarded that it goes completely unpunished while saying "Damn" once is worth a 20 game chat restriction. (Yes, I'm exaggerating, but only slightly. It's too easy to get chat restricted for saying "Fuck, that was my bad." Plus, cussing has scientifically been proven to reduce stress/pain.)

On the other hand, we're back to dealing with the now-frequent 4-man premades spamming the poor random with "YOU WILL FUCKING DO WHAT WE LIKE OR WE'LL JUST ALL TROLL", to which a random might reply "I'm gonna troll then. Dodge or lose." And welcome to our new system. Very not-so-merry-go-round, innit?

Honestly, at least you can mute a premade and pretend you're alone, I suppose. You can't mute and pretend a feeder doesn't exists. But you also can't really win a game easily without communication, so it's a double-edged sword.

Ugh, screw it, I'll take the 3rd half of this situation: Go play some DotA 2 or SMITE and wait patiently for the dust to settle before jumping to any drastic conclusions.

Edit: Fixed an error that made me look kinda stupid and killed my point. Should make more sense now.

Your chances of finding a ranked duo, trio or whatever trolling is so slim since..

Riot aint playing around right now (Go check out Player Behavior and Moderation)
Most people don't want to derank.

And while I agree communication is a huge part of this game, you can still provide some help with everyone on mute by just pinging things.

yes and no i love the que hate the bar they seem to raise for ranked i bet you none of them can even climb it themselves or they just cheat the system and give themselves the rank they want.

I never get my primary choice. So no, I don't like it. At least before I could play my prefered role about 50% of the time. Now I never get it.

Now as a solo player, I am constantly getting matched up against 4 or 5-man premades. This pretty much means an instant loss. Screw dynamic queue.

Well now atleast you got a chance at going 1/2 of your two favorite or preferred roles instead of maybe getting something you despise (Like I have to NEVER adc again till I feel comfy with it, yay!)

There is a 95% chance that a 5 man premade will not have a solo player on the other team. So quit ur bullshit lmao

If you are match with a 4-man premade then the enemy is also a 4-man premade with 1 random person. Your odds of victory are even.

In the old champ select, you had a 20% chance of getting your preferred role. You now have a 50% chance. In the old champ select you had a 20% chance of getting your least favourite role, you now have a 0% chance of that happening to you.

I kind of agree. I just hate the feeling this will set toward premade groups...

My friends and I will probably group up to play, but we've never harassed anyone for any reason. I don't understand this crap.

It's haves and have nots.

What Riot is really doing trying to promote their highest margin players.

It's like any other game, build up the guilds and leave everyone else to the wolves. I liked LoL as a pick up and play experience. I don't have time for guilds.

I just don't understand why they would think of adding another queue. If you are going to throw in Dynamic queue then stick by it. Last week they made a post about adding a separate solo queue. No way both can survive.

I noticed already last night that the pick/banning phase went a little smoother than the first couple of days. I know I had to re queue like 4-5 times a game because people kept forgetting to ban or pick a champion. Now it only happens maybe once or twice.

It's not cancerous premades, it's just that allowing to bring 5s into ranked queue changes up the game entirely... Solo queue is played very different than a premade team and if you're not part of the "premade" it's much harder to have an effect on the game.

Regardless, they're rolling out a solo queue relatively soon IIRC

This new system annoys me a bit because I have to choose a second role. I want to play my favorite role, mid, but I can't select my secondary role, jungle, without getting handed it every time. It really annoys me because I want to go what I am best at, but I might have to go jungle every game because mid lane is so popular.
