End the LCS
I think we're all sick of 2 months of "We're not doing anything because muh Worlds patch, except x which will be balanced according to high-level play (<1% of the playerbase)"
Shut this crap down

Don't generalize the rest of the player base due to your inability to adapt to the changing meta.
You do realize how big LCS is, right?
So big that 90% of all players don't even play a ranked match in their lives
So big that 90% of all players don't even play a ranked match in their lives
This also applies to every professional sport, hobby, or activity ever. How many football fans have ever played a game at the college level? How many basketball fans can shoot free throws? How many baseball fans can pitch a 90mph fastball or hit said fastball 300 feet? How many hockey fans can even ice-skate? This doesn't stop these sports from netting a combined $30 billion a year and having major cultural impacts throughout the United States.
I like the LCS sometimes... gives me something to watch for some cool plays or interesting music ect.
I rarely watch the games preceeding the LCS though like the qualifying matches to see who even goes to worlds or whatever. I only like watching the stuff online that people are also watching in person, something about the "sounds of the crowd" aspect makes it more interesting to watch
Lcs is the bridge between casual gaming and professional gaming ( esports ). Riot funds Lcs and it is very expensive, but they feel like it is the launching pad to accelerate esports in the west. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean that is has no cultural, social, or even economical impact on western culture. If you look at the facts, the 2014 world championship had more views than the NBA finals in 2014. By saying it needs to end is like saying " we need to get rid of the mlb because almost no one will get to that level".
This has nothing to do with what patches the player base does or does not get. They can play LCS, MSI, Worlds on whatever patch they want.
LCS is routinely 1 patch behind the player base.
You mean 4 weeks right? 5.17 was more towards competitive and 5.18 is THE Worlds patch, so its dedicated to competitive. I appreciate Riot doing the LCS since it gives a new platform for competitive gaming and teams. Lets NOT. Don't act like a child.
I did the math, and master and challenger ranks make up only six hundredths of one percent of the global LoL population.
That's like balancing the economy so it's only fair for those paid more than $2,200,000.00 per year.
