If you pick midlane as your secondary..
..there is zero chance to be a midlaner
If you pick support as a secondary - you can be 100% sure that you're going to be a support.

Mid is a more popular role than support.

bs, everytime i que top/mid i get mid. then again every time i que mid/top i get top.
primary/secondary respectively.
i pick jungle/mid and often get midlane
Funny enough, I've seen people that pick mid or fill as their secondary and get it, while 2 other people in the same lobby picked mid as their first. (I've went a good 20 games without actually getting mid until I realised that I'll never get it.)
Despite loving the idea of draft much more, I'm switching over to blind pick and 5 man premades simply because I get the chance to actually play the role I want, despite auto lockers and a 7 year old hand-me-down laptop.

a lot of times i get adc (my main role) then our "mid" asks for adc because they do this and it's annoying.
As a mid/bot role player I almost never get mid. I'm getting burnt out of playing ADC but those are the only two roles I'm mechanically comfortable with.
I used to queue as support/top and I got top lane more frequently than support. Something like 70% of my games I had to play top. Now that I queue Top/support I get support more than half the time. The algorithm is reversed so I suggest placing the role you actually want as second.
