I think Ranked MMR should influence both the ranked MMR and normal MMR. That way high elo players won't be able to get matchmade with fresh level 30 silver people, who happen to have the same unranked MMR with the state of things right now.

I don't know why you make matchmaking to be about what says or feels whatever. It is about fairness, and with current state of things it's not fair at all. Let's say 5 challenger players (that usually have unmodified normal MMR of 1200 ~ silver elo) decided to play a normal game, they would get matchmade against 5 silver players. With my proposition, this would be impossible, and all players would get an equally skilled opponents both in ranked and normals (which is only fair).

I don't know. I kinda like having people who know what they are doing on my team and growing rather being matched with and against brain dead people.

Right now normals are exactly doing this, if there is a high elo player on the enemy team, your team will seem brain dead at best (if they aren't already) and get styled on but that enemy team.

Mysticman891 votesMany people won't play their main champs or even their main roles in normals though, so while I might be a diamond level janna support player, I'm probably not even a silver level lee sin jg, and probably a goldish adc player.
People who don't play normals very often aren't going to throw off very many matches, and the ones who do are going to end up at an appropriate normals mmr for the level of play they're exhibiting there, and it's very possible that that level of play is quite different than their rank would indicate as they're playing with new champs/builds/roles.
