And riot you want to add another auto attack based keystone??

The AD/auto attack keystones make up half of all keystones already.

When I play things like Yi I feel like my choices are endless. When I play any mage, It's clear what my runes will look like.

Where is the bias and the hyperbole? All I literally did was categorize runes requiring auto attack or requiring AD to use effectively. Then I listed runes that do not fall into that category.

You ignored the fact that ap champs take Fleet footwork Dark harvest And glatial augment.

They also are the majority of champs which take spellbook They are quite capable of taking predator AND electrocute AND phase rush AND aery. Yes there are marksmen and attack based keystone's. But you can't ignore the entire game to make it look worse then it is.

Hell a Sol is like the only champion who even take augment.

Augment is not only for AD champions, aurelion sol takes it grasp is not only for ad champions, cho'gath takes it and many other AP champions dark harvest is not only for ap champions, eve takes it fleet footwork is not only for AD champions

-Fleet needs an AA to proc, but scales with AP. -Conqueror converts 20% of ALL damage to true damage, even if it grants AD. In theory, a champion like Katarina with AD-scaling magic damage could take it, even if they need to auto to proc it. (Lich Bane users wouldn't mind this, though.) -Literally Kassadin takes Grasp. -Glacial is a possible choice on anyone who takes GLP, though I don't know if it's a -good- choice.

I could keep going. You're fallaciously assuming that only AD champions want to autoattack, which is pretty silly. For example, Hail of Blades would make Diana instaproc her passive. Is it the best choice? Probably not. But it's definitely not -total- garbage, especially if it makes it more likely you'll get off two procs.

That's your fallacy. Everyone has auto attacks. Including AP champions (and if you're not using your auto attacks as a mage, you are gimping yourself in damage)

Mages have three choices and none of them are ideal.

Fleet is not exclusive to AD neither is dark harvest and Arcane comet is not exclusive to mages. There are obviously going to be more keystones based around AD champions because there is such a huge variety of classes for AD champions. It would be better to say that there are not as many ap based ones in general but if you actually took each type of AD champion and looked at keystones they would realistically take it is not a large list at all most of the time it's like 1-2 maybe 3 in some cases.

Okay let me put down some champion option examples.

As Yi I can go with: Press the Attack Lethal Tempo Conqueror Electrocute Dark Harvest

There's more options but those are the ones that are decent

Now as Karthus: Summon Aery Arcane Comet

Both of which do the same shit..just Aery does a bit more poke damage so it's almost always used.

I didn't cherry pick Karthus or Yi here, nearly every mage has 1-2 choices for runes. Nearly every melee (except ad casters) and adcs have a ton of options.

So tell me why we need another rune for the group of champions with plenty of options already?
