Not going to lie, all this %heath damage is really pissng me off

Like every rework/new champ almost always has %health damage and it is really annoying.

What happened to just having a base and scaling? Why does everybody need to be able to destroy high health targets?

I remember when having %health damage(either max, missing, or current) made more sense and helped keep the champ be more balanced or have the damage they needed.

Garen had his to execute.

Malz had his to be a huge tank killer.

Amumu had it to be relevant late game.

But nowadays it's like "This champ needs some damage, let's slap on 20% of the enemies max health, that's balanced for sure!

Please stop with the release of all this %health damage, I just want to go until the end of the year without more champs having %health damage after Tahm Kench.

Why?

It's usually weaker than flat damage spells vs squishies.

Proving to be easier to balanced around by making the scaling weaker too.

20% of target's maximum health is 400 dmg vs 2000 hp (most champions have around this lategame), so it's not actually a weak spell.

+ resistances.

It's usually damage taken from elsewhere too or requires conditions that most basic abilities don't need to fulfill to do damage.
