Anyone here ever picked Siegemaster mastery?

I pick it in ARAM sometimes when I have a comp I know will be susceptible to being poked a lot

i do when i play Janna or anythign into Caitln

It's very defensive, and loses all of it's power late game. Early game masteries and runes are to give you an edge in lane - Seigemaster is 'well, I'm gonna lose lane, but let's lose lane less hard'.

Tbh it may be better than its alternatives if against a hard counter/lane bully, with everything else scaled for late game.
