S rank as support seems significantly harder to obtain than other roles

I know that everybody thinks their rank is unjust but I just played a game with a thresh in hexakill who went 2/0/18 and absolutely carried our team with awesome plays. The other team was so demoralized they ended up forfeiting and the Thresh wasn't given an S. I played as a 1/2/17 Janna in that same game and felt like I was near perfect in my play and got a B.

I just feel like this is one of the many reasons we are all waiting 10 minutes to find somebody willing to play support.

Honestly I find it much easier to get S ranks on supports than in other roles.

im pretty sure that wards placed has some kind of impact when grading supports, but since there are no wards on twisted treeline...

S- seems very easy, I am getting them constantly. S I am not sure how much harder than S- that is.

Did you ward heavily?, get into the habit of always having a pink ward in your inventory.

Feel free to heal or shield people that are going to get the kill anyway, to just farm assists.

I haven't played hexakill sorry. I just posted my generic answer to this question that comes up a lot.

I see supports get S's all the time when they play crappy but don't die at all. I play ADC and do three times my team's damage, most farm, most kills, best KDA and hard carry yet I get a A+. So I don't really get the whole grading system tbh. It does seem quite flawed.
