We need more harsher punishments! The toxicity in games are getting out of hand.

I just recently played a game as Zed and my bot lane was horrendous. They were constantly feeding. They wouldn't stop after the first 4 deaths. The Draven in general I believe was trying out the champion so he tried to do something, but he just wouldn't stop feeding and he wouldn't respond to our team calls. Our support bard was a joke! He wouldn't stop feeding no matter what the case and he would just respond with "Its not my problem."

I was in a skype call with the support Bard and I kept asking why he kept feeding the graves because hes going to be so hard to deal with and his initial response was "It's not my problem hes fucking fed, if you have a problem roam down and kill him yourself". I was so shocked by what he said I couldn't even respond to the fact that he was essentially putting is back on me that he wasn't the one feeding! His final score was 0/15. Just a joke

So our top Maokai and me were the only ones strong enough to actually fight properly so we tried to carry as hard as possible, but our bard as usual would not stop going away from our team fight and getting caught out just to die again giving them more gold making it harder for us to actually come back.

I honestly believe Riot should address the fact that this happens in games and if players play like this and you report them. They don't receive a proper punishment.

bard is a support. he has no power to damage enemies, but at the same time he doesn't have an escape mechanism like other supports unless he burns his ultimate or finds some chimes (which might not be available anyway).

ultimately his team is a machine that does all the heavy lifting and he just oils the gears to make it easier. much like old zilean, he is only as good as his team can allow him to be.

if your other team members died to graves first (which is usually the case) he has no means of preventing bot lane from being destroyed. I have played support enough to know that if other lanes collapse the most useful thing you can do is either survive (which means getting reported for not helping) or you can try to fight a losing battle you were pressured into (which means getting reported for feeding)

a support relies on an ADC as much as the ADC relies on the support. although most ADCs don't fully understand that they have to adapt their play to the supports kit. which means if your ADC and support aren't compatible with each-others play-styles nor are they adapting then you will lose lane.

so I hope you understand that there is a fair amount more to supporting than just simply warding and spending your abilities on the ADCs target.

No, they need softer punishments, bans lead to smurfs which leads to more smurfing, more bans, and more toxicity. Just deal with them in a more fair manner, chat bans, perma chat bans, ping bans for verbal/ping offenses. Account bans only for instances of unfair play rather than toxicity.
