Every 4th or 5th game one team or the other is calling open mid at 10-15 minutes because first blood tower and a 6-7 kill lead. This is bad. Really alarming for league. Especially in high elo games. I even watched the korean LCS matches and they were stomps at 25 minutes and the other had nothing to do but just sit and let the game end.

I guess you have never been stuck in a 90 minutes (or longer ) DOTA game. There is no surrender and you can see all kind of comebacks. I've seen too many times one of the teams to get wiped in Lol and they just get demoralized and surrender even when the game is far from over.

You either drag it out to 30-40 (if you can even) for the 10% possibility of an ace and getting baron to turn the game or just open and move on to the next one, most people seem to choose the latter at high elo.
