I ended up in bronze in S3 due to shitty placements and it was incredibly easy. If you have difficulty in bronze and lose any matches that are 5v5 with no trolls then you suck.

good luck having a game with no afks or trolls

bronze is the easiest league to carry in because of how incredibly unskilled players are there is a reason there are more people in silver than in bronze even though elo hell doesn't exist, the better candidate for the elo hell would be silver and not bronze

bronze is NOT easy to carry in, and as a support main elo hell does exist and it fucking sucks

If it's not easy to carry in, then at this moment this league correctly reflects your level of play. And you should work on that before thinking of climbing. Climbing does not happen just by playing. Playibng ranked does not mean constant growth of your rank. It will only grow if you change for the better. It's no different for supports. They have a lot of impact on the game, it's not season 2 anymore.

You can change all you want but when you have idiots who decide to afk, or feed, you've effectively lost most of your edge. You think its easy to go against higher skilled players who have smurf accounts? Its not skill based, its the fact that their team either gets along and doesn't have the dodo bird flock or they have an overly skilled smurf on their side who takes advantage of people. I cannot help my team if its a 4v5 and no one wants to listen, that is not my or anyone else's fault, that is the flaw in the ranked system to allow this shit to happen and penalize players who try their damnedest to win. There is no team in bronze, nor in silver and probably not in gold either. Riot favors the higher ranks, you can kiss riot's ass all you want but when the individual skill doesn't mean shit you've got a fucked up system for ranking.

While it is true, that you (and me) can meet idiots who afk etc etc, it's only a small percentage of the games, honestly. You shouldn't be looking at ranked as 1 game or 1 day of bad games. Don't forget that there are 2 teams. They are both filled with the same kind of people, which makes it balanced. You don't really need people to listen to you, to win games in bronze. You are trying to build a non-bronze team in a bronze game and this is not the correct way to approach the game. Bronze is there to be Bronze and it will always stay like that. Only YOU can change to get out of there. There are different reasons people get there, like: poor mechanics bad decision making bad game knowledge lack of experience overly negative attitude

Everyone has their reason and if you don't want to be there, you have to see past these things. You will never have "good" games like pros or high elo streamers do in your Bronze League. Because those are different players. Either you learn to enjoy just playing the game as it is, or you start focusing on your own game and getting better to climb up. This will mean losing games. Even if you have 70% winrate (which is impressive) you will still lose 30 games out of 100. It doesn't mean that you have to get all frustrated over that one loss and how that game went. But the last thing you have to look at is at how bad your teammates are. Look at how bad YOU are, and I don't mean it as an insult. I mean it seriously, this is the best and the fastest way to get out of bronze. You should not forcefully be silent to the badness of your teammates, you should just make it stop being your concern. Because your teammates will not become better. They will become better if you climb but the enemies will become better, too, so NOTHING will EVER change in that regard.

When I'm on a 7 game winstreak, then suddenly the influx of really bad decisions comes rolling in effectively dropping me 3 ranks , I think there is more than just a personal issue there. I gained two ranks, was completely happy, then it all went to hell. Everyone makes mistakes, everyone fucks up, but there is a level of ignorance with players that is uncontrollable, even with practice, experience, I can only carry so hard, I need my team to be there with me and do their job as well. Its not balanced, there are smurfs that roll in, sometimes you get lucky and have one on the team, other times you don't. You can be the best player in the world, but in the end it comes down to the fact that you need the other 4... when it comes to random chance, its not fair. I busted my ass to get where I was, and its more common to have an afk than you think. Maybe I just have really shitty luck.. and I understand that some of it is my doing as well, but my skill should not be based on the worst of my team. I can help them, I have, I have carried them through the worst of it but somehow its just not enough.

That's just the game itself. It's too balanced in general to be balanced for 1 person. 100% of the time 5 people will lose. Also you shouldn't view your all time top rank as your "main" rank. Rank isn't there just to have it and show it off. It can effectively change both ways and you will always deserve what you currently have. And, I'm really sorry, but losing so much that you drop 3 divisions indeed does look more like a personal issue, than a system flaw. It is called tilting and it's a whole different issue which can happen in any competitive atmosphere.

Speaking about hitting a point where you can't just keep winning, it means hitting your current skill ceiling. Sometimes you go on a huge winstreak and it brings slightly higher than you can manage or it does take you by surprise, so in the next games you drop back.

And, seeing, your other replies, once again - Bronze is not just that one game where you had 2 afks. Shit happens, laugh it off, play again, win. Getting outplayed by the enemy (which also bronze)? Look at what you could've done differently.

3GAMES after i placed

  1. won: losing the entire game only got lucky because somebody had internet issue and dced, so we 5v4ed luckily won the fight and quickly pushed, otherwise we wouldve lost because my team was feeding
  2. zed jungle feeding, yasuo mid feeding the entire game, blame me as a support for not warding mid early enough
  3. feeders and throwers, did fine early game, then fiora decides "hurr durr im fiora and i can pentakill with my ult" and does that about 10 times feeding on purpose just to spite our mid who told her to stop 1v5ing

Ill give you a tip:

It isn't your teammates fault you are stuck in bronze.

GlitchScatter1 votes

Really? You want to carry through two afks and someone who can't stop complaining about shit? You give me an example of a 3v5 going in your favor and get back to me on that one because I sure as hell don't see anyone carrying a game by themselves. Between feeders, afks, and trolls who decrease the morale of players NOT TO MENTION SMURFS. You honestly think anything reflects the skill of a player through that? Sure.

So an afk / feeder / and getting dropped from silver to being paired with bronze players again is my fault..? oh ok

I just played an AD bruiser brand top on my smurff, l3rancl, and dominated despite a troll on the team :)

You got dropped 3 tiers, I was dropped to G4 from plat and you don't hear me crying. If you believe there is an elo hell strictly for silver- then your never going to rank up. LOL is elo hell, I just has a play mid feed a fizz 6 kills before 10 min. It never ends but you just keep playing.
