Fiora will be the best duelist in the game after the rework?

Seriously...

Her passive can deal true damage based on a percentage of the target's maximum health. That is impossible to counter because it's true damage, so you can't counter with armor; but it is a percentage of the target's maximum health, so you can't counter that with HP. And unlike Vayne, you can't counter that with attack speed slows because Fiora applies that on every basic attack AND on her Q. I can see her being a good counter to tanks; the complete opposite to the current Fiora, which is hard countered by tanks.

Her W allows her not only to dodge an auto-attack... but also to dodge any CC applied to her, and to STUN the opponent should the CC be blocked. This allows her to win duels against, for example... a Jax that is trying to stun ther with his Counter Strike... A Pantheon that is trying to jump and stun her... A Darius that is trying to cripple and slow her attack/movement speed with his W... Thanks to Fiora's Riposte, I predict that champions that were formely hard counters to her, will now be skill-based matchups at worst, and will actually be countered by her at best.

Her E is an attack speed buff that is actually worse than the current attack speed buff, but with her second attack being guaranteed to critically strike, I predict that items like Infinity Edge will be even better and cost efficient for her. Infinity Edge, in particular, will increase the second attack's damage by 1.5 - which is fantastic. Also, an attack speed buff makes any champion a better duelist on any situation. The downside is that attack speed slows will cripple her even more.

All those things make me think if Fiora will be the single best duelist after the rework. At the moment, this title belongs to Vayne (on my opinion). I wouldn't say that Nasus is the best since he can be kited but otherwise Nasus is the best duelist in the game with enough stacks. Jax used to be a very good duelist too before the nerfs, I am not sure now.

the max % health true damage is on her ult.

i belive her passive deals a flat amount of true damage.

imo it will still be easier to deal with her, than with vayne. she cant just stack attack speed to get more procs off. she needs to come into melee range to auto attack for it to work. you should be able to kite her around with most champions to keep her off those spots.

but i think the deciding factor is, that unlike vaynes w passive more attack speed doesnt mean she will deal more true damage against you.

i havent seen her use it against a moving target. will the weak spot move with your character, meaning a 180° turn might put it out of range for her when she tries to trigger it? that would make it almost too easy.

by the way, im surprised that the pbe says % health damage. ive see a spotlight where they showed her abilities on a kat with a couple of giants belts in her inventory. her passive didnt seem to deal noticable damage. maybe it was the lacking ad to go along with it.

ehh... how about no.

Pick summoner 3 = Fiora has no ult.

If you want to be technical about it in terms of pure chances of winning a duel, it probably goes to Malzahar, lategame he can 100 to 0 basically anyone in the game without you being able to even touch him if he can land his combo.

Quicksilver Sash will ruin his day quickly though.

Vayne is another strong candidate given that she can kite most of the other duelists (and if a duelist can't beat the other duelists; they don't have the right to be called the best).

I highly doubt she will be, champions with more mobility will easily work around her passive, champions who don't rely on skill shots to land their CC should be able to brute force her down. The best duelists in this game have one or both of these.

Tryndamere Jax

Also, Fiora has to hit a specific side of the champion she is fighting to get the true damage off. Unlike Vayne, who just needs to auto.

Even without Jungle items Shyvana will still be one of the best duelist. As long as you can protect your vitals she shouldn't be that much of a problem. Her new reposite doesn't seem to last long so it's something that Fiora has to be skilled to use. If she doesn't use it properly, hard CC will still shut her down. It's still too early to tell.
