I don't see an option to go 3 mid/bot. I don't see an option for duo top with no jg. I don't see a double jg option. Seems like they do in fact enforce a meta to me.

Would doing those things in ranked be stupid? Yes. But if you enforce a meta, don't say that you don't....because they are clearly enforcing a top, mid, jg, bot/support meta.

Anytime someone complains about getting a trolling duo that both go top lane with Darius and Garen that combine for 2-28-3, the response is "rito doesn't enforce meta". Well if that's the case, then why can't I go duo jg? Or why can't I just got 3 top with the duo? The fact that these aren't options prove that rito does in fact enforce a meta.

If your breaking the meta like that do it with a team or play blind.

There's the meta. And then there are the basics of how the game works.

Nowhere is it written that the support has to go bot. Nowhere is it written that "bot" has to be an ADC. The new champ select simply acknowledge that there is 4 sources of income on the map (3 lanes + 1 jungle) and serves to decide who will take which income, and who will be the poor guy without gold. You can still go Leona+Katarina bot, you can go Sona Jungle, you can go whatever you want. It only enforces what gold you're supposed to collect.

no one is forcing you to go to the lane you were assigned to, if you want to go double jungle, 5 mid and whatnot you better be damn sure to let your team know about it. When you are playing against random people it's way easier to have something established than to just leave it up in the air. If you want to try something stupid and crazy like everyone top or something like that then get a team where is much easier since everyone knows what they are in for instead of forcing others to do something they have no desire to do.

You can play the conventional 1-1-1-2 but if you deviate and not let your team know about your intentions then you are nothing more than a troll. Instead of spewing nonsense actually think about why the system is the way it is
