Get some dude in our game that is pissed about his last game. So what does he do? Instalocks mid AD Soraka (even though we already have a mid laner) and says, "I don't care, I'm troll".

Why do we not have a single way of dealing with this yet? But lord forbid you call him a troll, you will get slapped with a 14 day ban for "ruining his fun". It's completely idiotic. The vast majority of "toxicity" that I see comes from shit like this, but rather than actually trying to address the cause of it, you would just rather throw around chat bans to pretend like that's going to fix it. News flash, if it hasn't worked in the 3 years since Lyte has been doing it, it isn't going to magically start.

Not only do we not have a way of kicking this player from out match...but when he trolls in match he won't even be punished. The game will go something like this: Raka 0-5 by 3 mins cuz troll. He will say, "guys I'm sorry I'm doing badly this game". He will obviously get flammed since he is a dumb dumb business major. He will then "/all guys please report my team for flaming me just because I'm having a bad game" and rito, and this community, is dumb enough to punish the others for it. It's truly amazing how people can be so unintelligent.

Edit: This is exactly the kind of stuff I'm talking about. These two duo fellas just trolled us the entire game, starting in champ select. "Please don't ban X" Ban X. "I want to play Y" First pick locks Y and says "lol sucks for you". Then the proceed to have a score of 5-26 combined and both of them literally say in chat "we are just here to troll lol" and "we are feeding :) ". I have their names. I will follow them on op.gg and I would be my last dollar there is no ranked bans or bans of any sort. Yet our Brand that was "being mean" for telling them to stop trolling will most def get a chat penalty.

Those kind of trolls only avoid punishment if you let them outsmart you. Don't let them play the victim.

Also, you can report them for asking to report you because that's against the ToU.

I agree that we need a way to kick people in matchmaking, though my concern is that people will abuse it if someone picks non-meta or use it to queue dodge if they get counter picked or something.

If you actually propose a system and how it would work you're more likely to get attention from Riot.

I just don't let myself being pushed to be toxic. Why should I give a f*** for this person and even let my effort to flame him get me punished? I'll report him, I'll talk to him, but I just won't flame him. There's no benefit in it for me, I don't feel better after flaming him cause it makes me rage even more and makes him write bullshit in chat.

Don't give those people this power over yourself, cause that's what you are doing.

I still support some kind of mechanic to get rid of people who start being toxic or call a troll game in championselect, those people are insanely annoying, but that's why you shouldn't give them the power to make you the dumb one in the end.

Agreed. A decent percentage of flaming and toxicity comes from people that troll/intentionally feed, and Riot has to understand that. Yes, we shouldn't flame, but we shouldn't troll either. And I don't see the second thing being punished. Maybe I am the bad guy too because I flamed at the troll because he wasted at least 30 minutes of my time, but the fact that I get punished for verbal abuse (no punishment for me yet though, maybe because I don't swear a lot), while the troll gets away with it will not make me flame less or the troll stop trolling. And if Riot ends up banning me for verbal abuse, then I can assure the people working in there that I will not miss the game at all.

Gone like 2 seasons and tons of new champions, content updates, marksman/juggernaut updates, map update, etc. but still no tribunal update.....

I always wonder what the actual percentages are for trolls/afks in a persons games are. People are so quick to say "I wouldn't flame if there weren't trolls in my games", but I look at my own games and I very rarely run into trolls (once a month? if even that), but I run into flamers far more frequently.

Well, if your rate of encountering a troll is similar to mine, isn't one dodge a month enough recourse? Take a screenshot, send in the support ticket, and dodge.

I believe that there should be a votekick for anyone who autolocks, all 4 people on team agree to kick him and the game will have to find another person. Its unfair to the rest of the team to waste 20 min of their free time to these kids.

NO. You don't get banned for ruining their fun. You get banned for retaliating to someone who's getting banned anyway.
