Since Aery is good because its reliable... What if we made comet have a slow?

Not a big slow - only like 10%, but a slow none the less. Would help with its reliability for sure. While were at it, we can make comet have actual scaling!

Edit for clarity: I dont mean having the projectile ITSELF have a slow, i mean having either the spell that procs it slow by a small amount long enough to let comet be reliable OR have the area slow based on the comets distance (increasing until impact)!

That's some backwards thinking right there. Comet having a slow won't help with its reliability. It would have to hit to apply the slow. You want the slow so it'll hit. Makes no sense. Also if you want better scaling, use electrocute. This isn't supposed to be a nuke like that is.

What if a slow on the area before the Comet lands?

The idea would actually be spells that spells which proc arcane comet just get a small slow so that the keystone is more reliable. Considering how big the AoE is, an area slow would be a little to strong.

Unless im misunderstanding.

A little to literal there but i understand, its not like i specified where the slow would be. Ideally it would be on spell hit - youd get slowed, and then the comet would land. Making it a lesser glacial augment could be interesting too; a slow that increased in strength (from say 5-25% based on the comets distance to impact could be fun.
